I guess its a good thing that you are warning other ppl, and thank you for that. But as for yourself, if this happened to me, i would not even think twice about it. New drivers usually means better stability (its its not an early release), and 20sols is basicly nothing. But thank you anyway.
thanks for the warning

20 sols is such a small amount its barely considered variance, I think you are making much ado about nothing.

This thread was meant to inform others about the drops, but as I mentioned the sols were still declining. I didn't let it go any lower but it's quite probable it would go lower.

Not too sure about 20sols not being a big deal though. Many have switched from EWBF to DSTM for a higher rate and many state they get around 50sols more. There appears to be justification to run it at 2% dev fee for at least 50sols more. A 20sol difference is almost half of that.

Similar problem here. How do you rollback the driver?

In windows, go to Device Manger, then to display adapters.

Rclick on a card, then properties.

Driver, then roll back.

My rigs with this new drivers failed, couldn`t even start miner, all sort of random errors. Rolled back to previous driver, zero problems. AVOID.

I've seen the behavior a number of times in the past.  Some driver versions lower the rates, some have no change, and occasionally they go back to normal after a following update.  For the most part, I don't update video drivers once I have a mining rig stable and running well, though it is nice to update every now and then (6 months), just to see if there is an improvement.

DSTM

All of my rigs are running driving version 23.23.13.9135 (3/23/18) and DSTM without any issues.

Today on my smallest rig I updated to 397.31 (4/25/18) and saw a loss of "at least" 20 sols.

My average before the update was 1811sols, but after the update I was getting 1791sols and STEADILY DROPPING.

I did a rollback and everything went back to normal.

When I did the rollback, I'm now showing 24.21.13.9731 (4/22/18), however I'm getting a warning that the new 397.31 (4/25/18) is available for download.

I'm just putting the word out to at least check one rig before updating all your rigs.
