First you need to consider. Is your electricity charge is cheap? If not, i suggest dont enter mining. Because the coins you will mine is just enough to pay your electricity. Also the maintenace. You need to maintain your hardware in able to maintain your mining rig until you nothing left for you. Maybe you can earn. But not enough for you to survive. Mining is not proftable. But if you do it earlier, maybe you will earn a lot.

You can visit mining section for more guides. Here

I Suggest You That Don't Try Out Mining Now a Days Because Now The Reward For Solving a Block Is 12.50 Btc And it Doesn't Covers Your Expenses But If Electricity is Cheap In Your City then You Can Try Mining........
Also I Suggest You that Invest in Trading Instead of Mining because it Is Much Profitable as Compare to Bitcoin Mining......
Yes this time the price is too low for mining bitcoin results already at reduced by half, electricity costs would not be offset with the results.

Hello everyone!

My name is Cyberlink, and I am pretty new to this forum, tho Ive both mined BTC and Altcoins for a while, I now want to be more apart of the community!

Ive mostly been cloud mining, but  now I want to have a go at setting up some GPU's and Rigs, as I understand, that gives you more flexibility when it comes to what to mine?

So, as my first post I will also ask my first question:

What would be the best "overall" computer setup, where you could easily switch from one coin to the next?

My plan so far is this:

Motherboard -  Asrock BTC pro something, seen this is what most use?
GPU - Was mainly thinking R9 280X, which manufacturer should I go for?
CPU - Does this have anything to say in a Rig?
Ram - 4gb on all machines
PSU - Read somewhere that u can twin up Antec Platinum PSU native, is this true? and what do I in case need?

Anything and every tips along the way will be deeply appreciated! Smiley

Best regards

Cyberlink

Welcome, first of all I'm farely new here but I'd suggest that you go over to the mining section, they can help you a lot more there than here. Also, by the time being here I've seen that mining isn't that much profitable (idk about the rig you have)?
