Topic: New Phishing email being circulated for Ledger wallet users. (Read 118 times)
A friend of mine received this email and wants to know if this is a new phishing scam or if this is legit? So I Googled this for him and I found out that it is a scam.

This is a more sophisticated phishing attempt, because this person owns a Ledger wallet and he ordered the wallet with the email address in the phishing email that was send to him. (Note : Not the one I edited in the email below that he send to me)
Please be careful and do not click on any links in these kinds of emails. (Always go to the manufacturers official website and download software from their site)

At this moment, it's technically impossible to conclusively assess the severity and the scope of the data breach. Due to these circumstances, we must assume that your cryptocurrency assets are at risk of being stolen.
If you're receiving this e-mail, it's because you've been affected by the breach. In order to protect your assets, please download the latest version of Ledger Live and follow the instructions to set up a new PIN for your wallet.
