for what? Short term speculation?

no, all for long-term holding.

in that case a very bad portfolio. because altcoins for long term will give you loss only.

and your investment is good on ripple for now and also NEM. but i am not much of a fan of the other two.
also your are obviously missing bitcoin.
also litecoin and monero are missing from the list. and Lisk has been showing some promising rises lately.

I see you are looking for long term crypto coins. Then I suggest Burst as a long term coin to buy now and hold for the long term as it's cheap at the moment currently around 190 sats. It has a great dev team and strong community support which can be seen by checking the daily volume charts. I also think MOIN is another great long term coin to buy and stake as it has a low supply of 6.8 million coin currently and low market cap which has potential to grow which it has been doing for the past 6 months now.

I would have your main stackin BTC/ETH (I'm holding in ETH mianly) and having a smaller amount in other altcoins.

agree with this.  with regards to altcoins, do your serious research and envision whether they are projects that can realistically stand the test of time (and the impending altcoin dump)

It depends on your goals for your investments and what kind of risk you accept (which seems pretty high from your choices).

I would add Lykke and Taas to those holdings. Both of them are extremely promising projects in my eyes. Taas just finished it's ICO and trading on livecoin should start shortly. Might get a bargain on an initial dump (if it happens). It seems like they got their stuff together and it should be possible for them to deliver tremendous profits in their quarterly earnings.

I'd rather not keep any bitcoins with all the insecurity around the segwit thing. Transactions in BTC are currently horrendous and I don't think it has a future. BTC could very well remain a store of value, but it will never be a currency. I think that will limit it's upside tremendously, as the global cryptocurrency has yet to be made and is likely to take over the throne completely.

Golem otherwise seems pretty interesting.

Hey there!

What do you think about a portfolio consisting of:

- Ripple
- NEM
- Bitbay
- Bata
- and maybe 2 to 3 more coins..

Any suggestions? Thanks Smiley

Any cryptocurrency portfolio should be mostly bitcoin with minor holdings in a few of the top ten coins depending on your research. Maybe 80% bitcoin and 10% each Ether and Monero. But it is your money:) Most altcoins are pump and dumps. Ether and Monero do bring something new to the table.

I don't know about bata but it not looks good for me, My guess it will better if you can try to replace it with RLC token. It's a good long-term investment for you. try to give your consideration for RLC.

With a good roadmap and the team.

remember try to invest on a good coin which has a lot of supporters and big community.

In my oppinion, everything in the top 10 is pumped, except XMR which is hugely undervalued. I would consider adding it to your portfolio.
But think fast, cause it seems like its heading to the moon lol.

I dont invest in shitcoins, so for the rest Ive no idea. Bur ripple is cool.
