Make sure your processor is supported by checking this list. I'm reading that you may have to perform a bios update. But it's more likely that the board is dead. If your processor isn't on the list, then get a different one to test with and update the bios asap. Otherwise RMA that board.
What processor do you have? And give me the full model number of your motherboard.

Alright so dummy plugs weren't it. I even tried just having only 1 GPU on the MB with the HDMI plugged in...still no signal. PSU fan on, CPU fan on, GPU fans on..Tried using a DVI cable instead of the HDMI, tried 3 different monitors still no signal...what else could be it?

So I just built a 6 280x rig, with a Gigabyte 990FX motherboard. It powers on just fine soon as I hit my powerswitch, but I cant get anything to display on my monitor. I have a newer Acer monitor with an HDMI cable connected to the first GPU, also have a keyboard plugged into the MBs keyboard port, and a mouse in the USB 2.0 port.
Ive tried a DVI cord as well, but the monitor still wont recognize that any cable is connected. I just need to boot into BIOS so I can start setting that up. So what else could I do to get the monitor to recognize?

You may need to create Dummy Plugs to trick the OS into thinking you have monitors attatched to all of the cards.
If that doesn't take care of it, you may have a power problem. Try booting with just two or three cards.
Ahhhh Dummy plugs, forgot to try those.. So I just throw a dummy plug into the rest of the GPUs that don't have the HDMI cable plugged in?
