Nice. Do you mind sharing the link of that tutorial

Besides, I have tried a bunch of RX 560 2gb BIOS and none of them can unlock more shaders beyond the existing 768 ones

Sure...

Unlock the shaders - AMD Radeon RX 560D

I have only 768 shaders after having hex editing trick. Idk, the hex trick unlocked 128 shaders like it did to the RX 460/560D but there's still two more. Since the RX 550 I have is a baffin chip...

Good to know, I published a small tutorial how to unlock shaders on TPU but never had feedback on 550 series.

About 10-11 Mh/s eth.

My locked 560D do 14.5MH/s on Eth.

For the casual miners out there, what does this 10 CU / 640 shader translate to in hashrate?

Have you tested these in mining? Any ideas as to what hashrate can be expected from this will be much appreciated. Thank you.
About 10-11 Mh/s eth.

After some fine tuning they can hash close to 14mh ethash algo.

Since they are baffin chips - have you manged to unlock a full 1024 shaders or even unlock your card to a 560D?

The Radeon RX 550 normaly has 8 CU, 512 shader and the Polaris 12 gpu.

I saw a RX 550 with 10 CU and 640 shader, and I thought it´s the unlocked version from the Polaris 12 gpu. Cheesy
But it´s only a renamed Polaris 11/21 gpu with 6 locked cu´s and 1500MHz memory (called Baffin LE). Sad
Another version of the RX560D, only with 10 CU.

I think this card is not good for mining, because the memory is to slow.

I got a 11268-15 4GB

It is possible to unlock a 560D, not a 560.

I am curious how your can be unlocked to 896 shaders. Did you use SRB Polaris to unlock shaders or did you flash other BIOS/mod your BIOS by yourself. I have the 2GB RX 550 Polaris 21 Version (the same card like yours but comes with only 2gb vram), but I can only unlock them to just 768 shaders instead of 896.

Kindly let me know how you made it. Cheers!

you never know until you test it
if you can get the card for very cheap prices
then it might be a steal
