There is a Polaris Bios Editor that has support for elpida.. just have a search a bit for it

I had a 480 4gb nitro (not +) with elpida and with modded bios using 1500 strap I could only get 26.5mhs stable.. 27.5+ was unstable.. 27 may have been unstable too so i sold it

i know that , 1.4 supported the first run of elpida cards, this new batch of saphires are least dont work properly with that editor , you have to hex edit them for now

@Marvell1 : you need 1.41 to make it work properly with elpida.

Do you have a link please? i have been trying to find this version, but only the 1,4 everywhere, thx

Thank you, I have found this link, but it just does not work with the newest ASUS STRIX 4GB 470 Elipda cards Sad. No card works, it just says something like default polaris radeon chip and I need to reflash back to original bios.

Just bought new Sapphire nitro RX 480 (all elpida), and indeed Polaris bios editor 1.41 doesn't work on them. I can open the ROM but i'm unable to see the timings.
I had to do some Hex editing. It is much more time consuming, but it's not too complicated to do if you follow the excellent tutorial on Anorak's website :

yup had to do the same thing
