It's a well know strategy where the scammer targets other scammers/hackers or any greedy person (honeypot).
The scammer makes you think you found a vulnerability on his website that you can exploit to steal from it. But as always, you have to make a deposit first.
After you make the deposit you discover you have been the victim not the opposite.

I remember someone reported a similar scam attempt on our local board but the scammer used a different domain name.

I already reported the link that OP's shared.

Another strategy of those scammers fooling people and might fall into their trap if you are not doing research and if you followed your emotion of being greed. It's a big BOOM that you're very lucky you did not fall on this kind of trap. Scammers now getting smarter and only naive people will fall into their next victim.

The best solution as of now, the more will report it is a high chance to eliminate this phishing site and can't be able to open.

Yes I reported including the search keyword (which is the job scamming phone number in this case) and the originate site (which has phone directory) that contains a look alike "google ads banner", that's where the actual scamming content comming from.

No God or Kings, only BITCOIN.
I was like ready to deposit the small change to make it up to 5BTC for withdrawal.
The good thing is you haven't done so because if you have that'll be an easy bucks from the scammer/s good thing you stay vigilant. As what TravelMug said better to report that site but mostly with this kind of scenario the noobs are the victims especially if they think as well it is an easy bucks for them.

It would be a bad twist if you indeed sent the money. That's the very definition of a thief got scammed.

The good news is that you didn't fall for the trap, checking the websites background:

Fairly new site, I have no doubts that it was design to scam crypto enthusiast.

I will advise you to Report a Phishing Page - Google Safe Browsing, so that they can be stop before someone falls for this trick.

Here is my story:

Got a text message from someone regarding to job interview at a company called SLD, found out that I never applied for that company after looking throrough those companies I applied for and try to match their full company name with S.L.D initial but none found. I then try a quick search on google to see if any smell of fishing and managed to find out a random site with directory of phone numbers and a database connection error message with a mining site https://mcxlive.ltd including login information.

I was thinking like god damn there might be another big hack in crypto world and managed to open Tor to try to login with hope that I can find something that might be interested (well greedy I am). Managed to log in and BOOM, an account balance of 4.9xxxxx BTC sitting there with mining stat of few THs. I was like god damn I am rich, and forward to change the email address immediately and it can be done easily (I am smart enough to think that a withdrawal request may notify to the owner's email address and he will find out)! A quick thought in mind  "it look suspicious" but greedy make me forward, I then try to withdraw that amount but it said 5BTC is the minimum (with a note that can't be changed because it can only be set when creating an account), oh shit, I then immediately look at the estimate earning rate stat and look like it take at least 20 days more to reach that 5BTC, I then have a quick look on the right side and saw a payment history of every 30 days (phew that true owner might not login for like 25 days more), quickly after that I proceed to change the account password (well I can wait for it to mine and I am just sitting here as a new legit account owner) and guess what, it can't be changed and keep saying incorrect old password! I thought may be the site won't allow anynomous browsing, greedy make me to proceed again, open chrome and navigate to the site with my bare home connection, BOOM a big RED warning from the AV plugin, it was like my good soul boy gave a good caution (during the whole session) and I then search for that site on google...someone told the same story, the same account balance....Phew, another sweet dream broken but luckily I was like ready to deposit the small change to make it up to 5BTC for withdrawal.
