Hi all,

I've recently been working on a small but rather useful feature on dotbit.me that lets you browse and register .bit domains that have expired.

The .bit DNS system is based on Namecoin, a decentralized cryptocurrency just like Bitcoin. You can download the software at namecoin.info. My website dotbit.me provides a simplified way of registering .bit domains for those who do not want to download the software or do not own namecoins (you can pay with Namecoins, Litecoins and Bitcoins).

As you might know, .bit domains automatically expire if they aren't updated at least every 36000 blocks. A lot of domains are released when people forget to update them and that means there's a lot of interesting domains available. By using the link on the frontpage of dotbit.me you can view, sort in a number of ways and register expired domains.

I hope it will prove useful. Even those of you that run the namecoin software yourselves can use the feature (no login required) as it is not as user friendly to get this into via the software.

Enjoy!
