Preferred to avoid posting here but seeing this topic popping over and over is frustrating.
As H&co said this topic was discussed many times before and no need to start a new one each month...
(i am not against the idea)
Until now just ctrl+f in the services pages then write signature and you will find the activite/new sig/cmp
Mitchell post is a good summary and in the last posts you will find the latest updated table and under it, comments from members about the modifications & new campaign.
Hope it is clear for all...

Yes there are hardly more than 6-7 running signature campaigns at any given time and to be honest I have to search for signature campaigns in Service section and not the other way around like op says.Though a separate sub section would be good but it is not pressing need
I tend to believe the opposite. Due to the amount of people participating in these campaigns, these threads get bumped up very often which pushes down the other services provided by users.

16 on the first page at the moment, considering there is only 40 items on the first page... thats 40%,
I'd say that there are definitely enough for their own section (as we can see from the overview thread, there are a lot of campaign threads at this time).

This has been discussed numerous times. I wouldn't be against it necessarily, but I don't think there's enough to justify a new sub. There's usually only about 20 or so, though they are the most popular type of service in there.

Signature Campaign is not a service, its selling ads for small money.

Of course it is. You're providing the service of advertising for someone.

you can almost average that across the whole services forum in the past 6 months.

If we split the services subforum as stated in the OP, wouldn't we have to do the same thing with the altcoin signature campaigns?

I use Services to find work usually, But lately it is becoming a pain to navigate or find anything due to the amount of signature campaigns.

Signature Campaign is not a service, its selling ads for small money.

Signature campaign is still work, even tho the pay is low, and it's a service that someone is requesting from people in order to spread their websites, so technically there is no difference from hiring some guy to post in order to get your website out there and get some traffic going to hiring some guy to engineer a super complex software for thousands of dollars...

In any case, it may be a good idea to separate signature campaigns from the rest anyway, since a lot of people is only interested in the signature campaigns which is a nice way to get your first bitcoins and learn how the software works by sending real transactions, without having to resort to the depressingly low amount that faucets pay.

Maybe it would be interesting, but I don't think it's very important, because we already have this thread:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/overview-of-bitcointalk-signature-ad-campaigns-last-update-01-jan-23-615953

And on this thread we have all the important necessary informations about all currently running campaigns. I just think some informations about open campaigns aren't right, because when we look at it the campaign isn't accepting new members on that moment...

I am aware of Mitchell's "signature overview" thread, he is doing a tremendous job but he is human after all, and it's not like he has a team of people looking for new signature campaign opportunities 24/7. What I mean by this is, sometimes there are hours, maybe days until a new signature campaign gets added on that list, or certain changes like rates, new spots etc happen, it takes time to update, so you can miss good opportunities to get in early in new campaigns with decent rates. Fortunately I am very happy with betcoin.ag so I have not been paying attention to any other campaigns.

If we have a dedicated subforum it would be easier to keep track of new signature campaign threads.

Thinking this way it's true... The list need some time to be updated and some opportunities appear fast and if we don't join that instantly, it can be too late.

I think each signature campaign thread could write on title the main status of the campaign (if it's accepting members or not, if will accept only next week, etc). Because sometimes when people try to join the campaign (apparently open), they don't know if they were accept or not, nothing happens.

I was also thinking it might be a good idea to have new sub forums based on account status for the lending sub. some will obviously be bought or hacked but as long as there is good enough collateral (apart from accounts) it shouldn't matter.

The lending forum is just full of newbies asking for ridiculous loans.

heh maybe we could add a rule that states if posts <= 50 && amountasked >= 0.05 then autored trust / auto close topic / auto message "stop asking for ridiculous loans" ^_^ j/k of course

I'd be inclined to vote for this. Even though the number of such threads isn't high at any time, they are constantly being posted in (especially by spammers from other campaigns) which makes the other services lose a lot of potential visibility.

Maybe it would be interesting, but I don't think it's very important, because we already have this thread:

This thread is irrelevant to the point that OP has pointed out (which is that finding other services is becoming increasingly hard because of these threads).

And on this thread we have all the important necessary informations about all currently running campaigns. I just think some informations about open campaigns aren't right, because when we look at it the campaign isn't accepting new members on that moment...
This is completely irrelevant. If you have a problem with that thread, then contact the OP or post in it.
