I remember having the same problem. The compiled application would start but close right away.

Could you be more specific?

GCC/mingw version?
QT version?
How/where did you obtain your QT binaries?

Have you tried compiling Qt of the source code you modified from? Can launch?

For me, I ensure the source code is working, before changing anything.

have you modify "src/qt/res/bitcoin-qt.rc"?

Regards.

Is both Linux & Windows Qt crashed? Or just Windows Qt? Qt4? Or Qt5?
Just Windows Qt, I haven't compiled QT for Linux yet I'm trying to get it to work with QT4.8.5.
There's is no error when compiling, that's the weird thing. Everything seems to be working fine but I can't get the wallet to launch, it automatically closes. No debug.log file created in my AppData/Roaming

Thanks for helping btw  Smiley

Hi,

I've been working on a SHA256coin for quite a while now and intend to announce it in the next 24H and release in 48H. So this is critical, everything is working in Linux and with the Windows daemon but my compiled QT Version is giving me hard times as it only starts and then exits.

I've been checking my whole code over and over and looked for help online but can't seem to get this fixed.

Anyone would like to help me?

Thanks Cheesy
