Welcome to the bitcoin forum and community.

With those resources given to you, you need to take time reading them and as a friendly tip. You need to be watchful with the scammers try to scam you.

They're eyeing for those newbies and people that are asking the same questions because you're vulnerable and they're likely to scam people that are just new to the market.

You are right and she stated that anyways in OP to be approximately 4years of her introduction to cryptos and from 2018 to 2022 is exactly that. A lot could have been archived within this time frame and I won't say its entirely wasted because your here at least and it spans from that day.

The most important thing for you know now is to stick to the basics. Try to learn as much as you can and in that, build your experience through little or step by step interactions with the system. Every step in the way counts so, take notes and ask questions where you need clarifications.

Keep in mind, Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, not an investment project.
Is this point very necessary to be taken note of? Whether bitcoin is seen as a cryptocurrency or seen as an investment project, does any of the options pose threat to bitcoin or bitcoin users. It is true that bitcoin was proposed as a currency, but now bitcoin is different things to different people.
For a machant who accepts bitcoin for business, we can say to him that bitcoin is a currency. But for a die hard hodler who has not sold a fraction of bitcoin since 2010, to him bitcoin is an investment. So I believe we do not make bitcoin more unique or so by portraying it as only a currency.
Whether as a currency or an investment asset. Bitcoin to me is liberty

Maybe, media, magazines, google news about crypto is like the main ingredient of every news, you easily get all the needs about crypto, for sure there is a difference between forums and magazines, forums where you can discuss everything you don't know, magazines may be just information.

The bottom line: if you combine the discussion on this forum with crypto news outside, it will be a delicious and easy-to-digest and delicious spice, outside information is also important, inside the forum is also important.

To OP, here's a thread[1] on common crypto scams and how you can avoid them. Here's a thread[2] on you can secure your wallets to avoid getting hacked from malicious actors.

Btw, welcome aboard, don't forget to read and follow the forum rules[3].

Seems you registered in July 2018 but you made the first post today. Anyway welcome to the Bitcoin world and forum as well. There is no endpoint of learning. You are a beginner here, you can learn from here by reading the useful thread. Once you need to know something just use the search button of the forum. If you failed to find your desired answer then you are free to raise questions here. Keep in mind, Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, not an investment project. You need to learn many things before taking entry to Bitcoin and accumulating it. Especially how to store your Bitcoin safely and avoid scams & hacking attacks. So need to spend a lot of time here to find your destination.

Suggesting to read Beginners & Help section's pin posts.

Few Years back (approx 4 years)I came to know about bitcoin world through my boyfriend. He asked me to sign in an account ,to know more about crypto. Unfortunately as I strucked with my dental profession I was not able to know more about the bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Currently I read more about crypto in magazines and heard in news too regarding rise and fall in market .So thought to browse more in forum.
