I have a 5750 that gets 170+/- Mh/s on pci-e 2.0. You can pick up a molex to 6pin plug that will provide the power just fine.
Thanks!!! thats what I needed to know
Glad I could help, have you signed up at Coinbase yet? Check out the link in my sig to get 0.1BTC for free Smiley

EDIT: Yup, should be more than enough.

EDIT: Make sure your psu can power it, I have mine on a Thermaltake 430 and OC'd it as far as it will go while remaining stable.

I found a 5750 but it needs external power too(http://www.ebay.com/itm/330776840394?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649), I don't have a spot to plug it into but if someone can find a pin out I can solder wires to the pins Smiley another thing is that , my motherboard is only 2.0 pci-e will it still work? I remember hearing a while back that it would just be slower (I was looking at a 4850 BC i could get it for $30)

To answer your question: I have heard of some people using their onboard (intel, ATI, or Nvidia) GPU while mining on a secondary GPU. It might take a little bit on configuring your mining software, tho.

However, you have bigger issues at hand. Mining on a 4850 is probably like 80MH/s. While it's a lot more than 4MH/s, it's also not a whole lot...

If you're just looking for a cheap upgrade, try checking out a 5770 or 6770 on ebay. You can find them for under $50 sometimes, and they easily do 200MH/s. A 5750 will do a little bit less (maybe 150MH/s), but dosnt require any external power.

So I've been looking to step up from my 4mh processor to something a bit faster looking to get a 4850(not the best but good enough for now) Idk If my monitor will work with a dvi adapter so I was wondering if i can use my on-board video card for displaying video and use the 4850 just for mining , will that work?. Also my on board video is nvidia, idk if that has to do with anything,
Why a 4850?

The hash rate of it is hardly worth mentioning and they're very inefficient on power - you'd be better off getting a 5750 for about the same price if your budget's limited.
