The more Mining profit sucks the more GPU price will crash, it will get to the same point in 2018 where no one cares about mining anymore, even sellers were begging buyers to just take the graphic cards off their hands, I am sure that time is coming.
Absolutely, I lived through those times. But it will be at least 6 months until that happens.
I remember such a time too and it's was not easy for miners to keep mining, I don't have enough money to build a rig back then but there are many mining fans where I live, if the same thing happens again many mateverse projects that are topping the chart today will be dirty cheap, I can't wait to get my hands on top altcoins that seem almost impossible to buy today because of high value.

You already have the two graphic cards which is good, do not buy more because I know that mining is addictive, your thinking from now on will be, A card gives you 1.2$ per day, 10 cards will give you 10$ per day, the thing is this won't keep going on forever, there will be times where a rx580 will return 0.30$ per day and that will get pretty ugly for those waiting for their ROI.
Yes, it's important only to buy video cards at the right time, which is usually after the price has been falling for a few weeks but the decline has slowed down. That's the situation we are in right now, which is why I want to buy more cards.

You can use risers of any version different numbers mean only that the model is newer or older make sure to keep the 580s well ventilated because they heat so much under stress

RX580 generates heat so I don't recommend running two of these cards in your PC case, run one inside the case and use the riser for the second one but on the outside, make sure you place the GPU in a safe location to avoid dropping which can damage the GPU.

Hi I am new to crypto mining and I want to set a rig up using my gaming desktop, I have two rx580 and I have two risers, the confusion is the risers name are different, one is 007 and one is 009, can I use them both in my motherboard or they have to be the same model.
Install one video card in the motherboard, and you can install the second near the case with a raiser for better cooling. Only if you do not have small children and cats or other pets. Use molex raisers or 6 pin raisers.

007 is older and the 009 is newer, there you have it, since you are a newbie I will like to warn you about setting up risers yourself, it is easier to insert riser into a 16x PCIe slot in a wrong way, be careful and also do not power a RTX series GPU using SATA cable to the riser or risk starting a fire.

As long as your motherboard has enough Pcie slots to accommodate them you can use them without problems, they don't have to be the same model to be used at the same time, the numbering is just the version meaning the 009 is newer than 007.
