rx580 takes lots of energy, between 200-250 watt keep that in mind while you make a desicion,

Difference between RX580 cards depends on what memory chips use manufacturer. Better chips is samsung, this one give you better performance.

I've been wondering if it is better to get the dual fan vs single or just make sure to keep cards far apart and cooled by ambient temp or other fan?
If one Fan (Reference) "blower" removes heat from the back, away from the other components. The disadvantages are cooling and fan volume which is noisy. If Dual Fans is almost silent and performs much better. The downside is they throw all the heat into and potentially affect the heat of other components. You will then need a case of high airflow to avoid heat on the chassis. It's the best way to add outdoor equipment that can help cool or reach normal temperatures. I was looking at tge rx580. I liked tge cost to has to power consumtion ratio.any thoughts? Also i found like 7 different 589 models. Are there some that perform better or some that suck? Here is a pic of tge one im eyeing..

MSI Gaming X has very good cooling. Should have good hashrate too. You only have to use a single 8-pin no matter which RX 580 you get. The second one (if it has one) is not required especially for mining.
