Here's how this would work :

The miner always try to reach the first pool (0), if it can't it goes on to the second one and so on.

If the miner isn't able to connect to pool 0 (slush) it will fall over to :
pool 1 (also slush, meaning it probably try to connect to the next one again since the first one doesn't work and it's the same pool) then :
pool 2 Bitminter

Unless the miner is beeping or the fans aren't doing much noise, you are mining somewhere.

Pool 0 is set to slush pool
pool 1 is set to slush pool
pool 2 is set to bitminter

Is it running on Bitminter instead? What is the ordering of the pools in your miner settings?
You can't use both at the same time. If you want Bitminter to be your back up pool, it should be set as the second one in the settings.

I'm using slush pool and bitminter pool

Last night after a few hours the slush pool website did show my worker as green but now even though my miner is running the worker shows red as if it's not running but it is because I can see it as alive and working under miner status page.

Probably because you let it run for a longer time.
The only thing you should worry about is what your pool sees. Which pool are you using and can you view your miner's hash rate on their site?

Yeah I now it's not that much,  but i know yesterday I was seeing number between 1k-2k under accepted.  


So under Diff1# as that number increases it means it's just working  and sooner or later I'll start seeing numbers under accepted column?

you mean "error_fan 0"? If the value of error_fan is set to 0, it means there isn't any. If it was error_fan 1 then you would have a problem.

1150 GH/s isn't that much hashing power (to respond on "how come I hardly see any numbers under accepted column").

So when it's mining how come I hardly see any numbers under accepted column?

If you see a hash rate that's around 1150 GH/s within your pool (in their web UI), everything is fine and there's nothing to worry about.

Hello fellow miners!

       I was wondering if I may get some help with reviewing my kernel log to make sure everything looks ok.  Under my Miner Status everything looks fine. It shows alive, shows all zeros under ASIC which I've read means no errors, and my GH/S shows 1,101.59 with an AVG of 1,157.21


      When mining I think my numbers look good for the mining pool URL and worker info etc.   But,  in Kernel log I'm seeing stuff I don't understand and I'm just hoping I can get some help/guidance as the majority of the time when it's mining I hardly see anything being Accepted.  I know this is an AntMiner S5, but I'm just starting off and read that this is a good miner to start off and learn the basic.
