intensity at 20 is a no go for most people, too many rejected jobs, but usually 18-19 is the best compromise.
As for thread concurrency, it's a bit tricky, it won't change dramatically your hashrate but it can helps a bit. 32000 ish is a no go for me, always crashing so 24000 is the highest i can go it seems.

If you want any form of profit, Litecoin is probably your best bet right now.

Thanks luckygenough56, my command line look like this too. But as soon as I rise thread concurrency, mining won't start anymore with error -4 ... actually, the only thing that works is --shaders 2816.
I've also noticed that high intensity (19 or 20) yelds more keyrate, but give me way less "accepted" than lower ones (I'm currently using 14).

Gridcoin is combining mining with BOINC, maybe you'll be interested in it.

I'm mostly a DOGE miner, and I'm also mining a few BIL
I'm using a R9 290X, but it is giving me a lot of troubles when I try to optimize it ... basically, as soon as I change setting to something found over the Internet, it just refuses to start
