First you have to study the chart and the market enough before trading, and you need to choose the best altcoins with most valuable potential to trade, as well

I just advice you to keep reading about trading and learning more before investing your money, because it needs already good knowledge and large experience, as there is some risk involved with trading

i think first of all you need knowledge about trading and then select that which coin is very secure and stronger and then buy any coin with low price and hold it for long term and wait for high price , and i also trading in bitcoin so i recommend that bitcoin is much more better for trade nowadays .

Hi everyone,

New to trading - looking for some good techniques on when to enter my trades.

Can anybody here point me in a good direction?

Thanks!

Bro as you Said Above That you are New to trading So I Prefer You To Stay Away From Trading Because Trading Is Risky and Don't Try It Until You Have Much Knowledge About Trading Otherwise You Can Lose Your Money....
If You Want to Try Out Trading without Risk Then Put Some Little Money In Trading And When You Got Full Knowledge And Experience about It Then You Can Start Trading.....
Well to learn futher much better to try it first on doge its just minimal buy and sell movement to start on and to watch how it goes .best thing not to listen onthe trollor chatbox .make a futher research on a specific altcoin before investingmake sure that coin have a big volume and have a good feedback onthis forum.

I agree on this one.  If you are starting it is best to try it on currency that has been around for more than a year and of course cheap.  You can try all the approach in there, whether win or lose is not the case since your lost will be at minimal and can be recover once you get how trading works.  After getting the basic you can move on more expensive coin.
Getting a taste of how trading works with a familiar currency would be very, very smart. Trading with bitcoin is very different than dealing with forex or even gold kind of commodity trading. Even we have prior experience in trading, we must have again some fresh up every time to shine with new trading platform. Paper trading would be better choice for that.

No techniques in trading you must used your mind to do trading. Trading in bitcoin or altcoins is have a big different. In bitcoin you only get profit if the price of bitcoin increase but you need to wait. But altcoins you can get profit everyday or a week if you buy altcoins active and have potential to grown your btc.

There is no trick but there is an strategy on  trading.  You can start with an observation and research.  if you got the needed data, you can then buy the coin in the lowest possible price you can have it.  After buyinng, putting in a 10% to 20% add on amount and leave it on the sell wall,  Buy again when your sell wall is sold.  Rinse and repeat.

I would strongly suggest you to read and read and read before posting your doubts. You will get solutions for your 90%+ doubts in the topics posted here so instead of creating threads you should explore threads. Additionally I would also recommend you practical method where you should start trading with tiny amount and earn experience because you won’t get it anywhere. Whatever you can take from others is knowledge and not the experience. Bitcointalk is great for both knowledge and experience (marketplace).

check the chart. buy some potential coins for a low price. then sell it higher to gain profit. be predictable on trading and always read the chart to see if it will increase/decrease... holding different alt coins gives you more advantage too.. but be wise ok ? good luck.

I didn't ask for direction when i tried learning to trade actually, just observe how the troll are doing it.
register to an exchange and then watch the chat and learn well from their conversation because thats where you get to learn to troll as well to manipulate price.

Pro tip from a successful trader (who has since stopped recently) Don't trade, it is a gamble and anyone who tells you they 'know for sure' is lying and manipulating you. Just HOLD your BTC and sit tight - time will push it up (hopefully)

Well thats your opinion really but if you know how to play the game of tradings well you can earn by it and if you are just relying on up and down and didnt bothered to do some strat well that can cause you broke since it can make you lose your money, trading needs strat it's psycho game among trader so you can earn with it and if you have big budget well you have the advantage in tradings since you can block the pump and dump.

I will suggest that go to buy that altcoins whose price is much lower, as with that coins you will see on the exchanges a bigger gap between buy and sell, so you will have a chance to buy and sell instant with a bigger profit.

I hope you need to attain knowledge of how to trade, how to sell, when to buy. These are the main keep aspects of trading besides these you also need to have lot patience, because trading is also one type of investment and is risky.

The strategy in trading is just you need to buy bitcoin or altcoin at low price and sell it at high price. Thats it but it is hard to wait some altcoin or bitcoin will dump their price. So you need to buy the altcoin that you think it will rise. How to know if the altcoin will rise? Probably all altcoin have chance to rise but the best altcoin or the clue that it will rise is when the dev is active and the dev have plan to this coin.

Well, the technique that is easy for beginners always see a coin that has a large volume, and the price drops below 30% if you do not want to lose. in addition, these tips may have often heard by the trader, even bored, ie buy when prices fall and selling when the rise. Good luck  Wink

you must to reading about the last post, I sure you can do that, and saw about the date of the last post and it is time for this topic will getting a die, I didn't want to call you're a spammer but please you can do better things rather than it.

You need to know basic knowledge about trading..simple steps Buy low..wait patiently and sell them at high price..you will get your desired income..BTC

This is too basic, we all know this..

If you start trading, make sure to start with fictive money first.
When you get a hang of it expand your horizon with fictive and stop loss orders. The money you know how stop loss orders work, it's time for the real thing.

The best thing to do is start out with small amounts and don't sell or buy all at once. Leave yourself some leverage by holding some fiat and bitcoin.
and one more thing. if you are in altcoin trading. then always keep some bitcoin in your wallet as backup. some time altcoin trading may wrack your whole trading structure, if you invest in new alts.
but this is also true that right now altcoin trading is most profitable trading strategy.

You need to know basic knowledge about trading..simple steps Buy low..wait patiently and sell them at high price..you will get your desired income..BTC
this is the number one rule. if someone come into trading he almost know this rule of trading.. you can do trading with basic knowledge or may get profit also sometime. but if you need big success you have to be expert in this field.

The best thing to do is start out with small amounts and don't sell or buy all at once. Leave yourself some leverage by holding some fiat and bitcoin.

To be specific, try to buy a coin which recently drop tremendously for maybe 10k - 20k. Lets say from 100k down to 80k. Then buy a number of coins and then sell it when the price got to 100k once again. You'll see how much your profit right there and then.
Yeah, that is a pretty nice idea.
I have many friend's who trade altcoins with constant profit, but it is really hard job ( at least that is what they claim ),
and im not surprised,it is hard to find a good altcoin really.

I'm not fan of trading but i have little knowledge about it, just research and keep in your mind and ask what altcoins that will last long, even they have small value right now and if  there are gambling sites uses this alts as payment and as bet except for bitcoin.  And if there are sites or companies that mine this kind of altcoin.  Well thats the good altcoin to choose for trading. Best example is eth. This kind of trading is for long term, just hold it and wait at the right time. But what the main purpose in trading is, especially in new alts is. Buy low and sell high.

if you really want to learn more about it just start risking some of your btc, much better to do day trading strategy just like buy low and sell high after that look for a good volume and start tracking the coin movement if you have more time visit the announcement here and check for the future goal, from that you will learn and earn good luck to you buddy.

Thanks!

As The Pharmacist said, you cannot really expect that posting something like this will make you prepared for making profit from trading-we can help you of course, but
trading is a hard work and you need to learn a lot about it.
I suggest you trying scalping, this is my way to earn at trading ( you play at 1m/5m timeframe ),i use price action.
Price Action by Bob Volman (the book) is a really good one,u can buy it and im sure you will get a lot of knowledge out of it.

You should first focus on not losing (too much). If you manage to survive, profits will come

Thats such a generic answer lol.

No doubt. But it makes a decisive difference (or, rather, distinction)

Just encountered this quote by Warren Buffett (though don't know for sure if he actually said that):

Quote
One investor's two rules of investing:
1. Never lose money
2. Never forget rule #1

To practice trading you have to make local trading first so anyone near you can guide you on what to do and how to do.  Then you can venture outside your regions to expand the arm of your investments.  What will be the medium of your trading be it btc, altcoin make sure that the demand in your region is inline with that because otherwise you will be dealing with traders outside your region making it a little bit risky for a start.  Maybe later when you will be an expert in trading you can venture outside your region.

Try on yobit and use the strategy short term trade low profit but fast you can double your btc in just an hour i use that for about 1 yeAR and i profit more than 1BTC and i started with .0005BTC only so i recommend that to you. You can use that for good profit but on active coin only cause if coin is not active that will take more time
Shocked Shocked

you get high profit, can you share your tactic ? how long you hold your altcoin? are you really start with only 0.005BT ?

Honestly, if daily trading is a fast way to make a profit, then it is also a fast way to make a loss.

same, i'm newbie too here. but i think dont enter to forex trading for beginner. its very risk.. (make me loss  Cheesy )
better try to trade bitcoin & altcoin.
and you will familiar with word "buy low sell high, #DWYOR, to the moon, etc."  Cheesy

Heres my advice, you can ask yourself and google this: how many successful daytraders are there?

Because thats intially what more people are doing, now trading in different times like once every other month is investing instead of "trading" which is on the day to day basis.
Honestly daily trading is the fast way to make a profit.. but its hard to choose what altcoin is the best to choose to trade..
Just like i bought spm altcoin in few days ago and sell it and sold few minutes and i made 0.02 then after that the 0.02 i bought it all again with spm altcoin but after bought set again for the best price the spm altcoin starting dumping all so i lost 0.02.. so its risky if you are the one who the first buy altcoin you can make a profit but sooner if you buy again you will lose depends of the developement and project of the alt..
It needs a lot of research before you can start trust altcoin because many altcoin are turning shitcoins or scam coins in few hours..
in altcoin trading, you suggest for hit and run? how to you choose about altcoin legit/profitable or not?
with spesification coin or community? or condition market?

depending on what you actually have there, could it be btc or a capital for trading you can make choices on how you will begin to trade.  Always take caution especially in doing the trade online.  The best way to start a trade is a meet up or a referral from a known friend or a business associate in your area hence it will be clear to verify the status of the trading capacity and capability of the trading partner you will be dealing with.  If the trading partner will be legitimate then you can proceed to do trading as long as you keep tract on your investment.

what exactly do you mean by "enter my trades"?
generally you want to buy something when the price is low and then wait for a while and sell it when you feel the price is high enough for you to make a decent profit.
I assume the guy is a FX day trader.
Enter a trade is often use by FOREX traders to which a trader will profit/gain either where the market is going. Normally they call this "enter a position or a trade".
A trade position may either a bid for which the market go either bull or bear.

You should first focus on not losing (too much). If you manage to survive, profits will come

Thats such a generic answer lol.

No doubt. But it makes a decisive difference (or, rather, distinction)

I can sense so much help here.  OP, if you really want a foot place to start, dont look at this forum for trading advice. Most of the education is off this forum and towards an actual trading site or find someone who has been trading for awhile and shadow them.

Theres several ways to go about it, but I`ll let you decide on being creative.

New thread on his very first post. Not to be rude or something but my advise to you is to learn how to use Google. Seriously though, if searching in Google a simple question did not come up to your mind, then don't even enter trading.

But to answer your question, I don't want to go off topic here. Roll Eyes Trading requires a lot of time and practice. You can't just ask someone how to do trading. You have to start doing it in order to learn from it. Learn from your mistakes (losses). But if you're too afraid to enter trading, then you should do a lot of research first. Read a lot of articles, watch a lot of youtube videos, join a group of experts in crypto-trading, and finally, start trading.

Newbies mostly want to get money out of trading in just hours/mins. Well, guess what? It doesn't work that way. Sometimes you have to wait for days/weeks. You need to have faith on your coins. But there are also times when you have to give up a coin simply because you're starting to lose significant amount of money, or that coin is a potential dump coin.

For now the best thing to do as a newly trader is make some minimum or about 0.05 make it divided on 5 different cryptocurrency ,but first wait for the right timing buy when its low ,make some research about a coin that have a good potential so that you will earn in the future .

Good direction? That's it make a try then research of the coins.

Trading needs skills and of course capital.
you may wanna have accounts on poloniex or bittrex, you'll find their trading platform handy and you can set the price on which you can execute the buy order and so are the sell order. good luck

this is a perfect advise for newbie because polo gives you an easy way to select what ever price you wanted to select then wait for that to be hit no need for you keep looking on your screen polo bot will work for you. good luck mate.

if you are just new like me, you should stay with the basic strategy that I've learned the buy low sell high strategy every time you are buying for which alt coin you preferred to hold always wait for that price to sell low then buy it afterwards seeing that the coin is rising up a bit then sell to gain profit that's the basic while you are still studying hows trading works for you.

Buy when you think the price will go up. Sell when you think the price will go down. Anything beyond that is financial astrology.

Dude...you're asking a forum full of greedy motherfuckers to hold your hand whilst you wait for the money to sail into your wallet.  Welcome to bitcointalk, where everyone is looking for the answer to the question you asked and where if the answer is found, it is not shared for free.  At least not that I know of, but there are a lot of cranks who will share their method of losing money very freely.
