VEGA 11(mid-end card) will replace Polaris 10, so definitely we can expect price cut for RX 4xx series. Vega 10 is high end, probably will not be suitable for mining considering price/perf.

i read about VEGA 10 will released soon for AI servers...
then, in the second quarter, VEGA 11, for end users, will be released..

I believe Vega 11 is not due until end of year or 2018.  Long wait for a price cut.

no one have some test/demo GPU to run some benchmark???
i'm really curious if the latest AMD GPU implementation will give a impressive performance rise!...
and if not... we can buy an RX 470/480 to lowest price of now

The pricing for the 470/480 will not change, only the pricing for the Fury will change since Vega is replacing that.

Price will change for 470/480 when Nvidia drops the price of the 1070 when the 1080ti hits.

I agree that I don't believe Vega is going to have a significant effect on 470/480 pricing.

Yes quite possibility.

However I don't understand why any miners care about the VEGA. It will most likely lead into the 700 day ROI times since the high end GPUs always carry a huge premium. And the way ETH mining is designed it won't hash any faster than 42MH/s anyways.

Majority of people think it will make the RX400 series price drop.

I only care about the price drop, don't care the reason lol -- now if VEGA turns out to be the "new wheel" that has super high hashrates that make the return worth the investment. I'll gladly pay more for one.

Remember when the R9 290 came out? It was double the price of the 280X and only 15% faster in mining.

The Card will be released in 3 Months? So you cant expect this time any benchmarks. Also every mining software have to be written new maybe for VEGA!
blago and claymore are good devs and they will do miners update without problem...
I hope that the price will fall.
although I think that will fall not so much...

maybe VEGA can be released to the HMB memory(AMD Fury) and today miners can not use it 100 percent. Until I buy RX480/470.
