...
I just opened Wasabi (this afternoon), and there is a note at the bottom left of the window advising that there is a new version available. I had read earlier that a new version was coming, but it seemed further off in the future.
Has anyone checked out this "new version"? I will download it now and take a look. But I am not a programmer nor expert (nor etc.), so those of you who better know Wasabi might want to take a look as well. And post any comments!
I personally don't use Wasabi but the only recent update that I was able to find - according to their GitHub page - was this one :
Wasabi v1.1.13.1 - Tor Update[1] (13 hours ago). It does seem to match with the version that you just updated.
EDIT: The download went OK, but there seems to be no obvious differences in the new version (this one is version 1.1.13.1, I do not know what the version number of the "last one" was).
According to molnard - Wasabi Developer - here's the summary of the update:
This release upgrades the built-in Tor client from v.0.4.5.10 to v0.4.6.9. There are many significant changes, that greatly increase the network stability and performance. The release also contains some rare but annoying crash fix. Make sure your Tor client is not running in the background so Wasabi can update it - the easiest way is to restart your machine and start the new version of Wasabi.
You can also check past released versions of Wasabi Wallet here[2]. If we ignore the Wasabi v2.0 TestNet release then the version previous to this one (1.1.13.1) was v1.1.13.0[3].
