I wanted to formally welcome to new bitcoinj based wallets - Hive and MacWallet. Both are Mac-only wallet apps based on the Hive teams work on a Cocoa bitcoinj binding framework.
It's great to see people explore different UI ideas on top of the library. If you've been thinking you're not happy with existing wallet UIs, but were previously put off making your own by the complexity of the Bitcoin protocol, I hope these examples inspire you.
If you're a Python or Ruby developer then it's even easier because you can use Jython or JRuby to write code as you normally would, but on top of the JVM with direct access to the entire API!
