Altcoins can definitely solve the problems with transaction fees and speed that plague Bitcoin's network, but I'm not sure if smart contracts are good enough to build some serious project with them, like decentralized casino. On paper it looks brilliant, but in reality there will be many vulnerabilities, that might cause problems like exploits, which can drain casinos bankroll and leave investors robbed, or some bugs which will lead to loss of players funds. It would require a lot of time and work before decentralized casinos will be able to compete with nowdays bitcoin casinos.

i think altcoin-based casinos is an alternative deposit and place a bet in the games because for me, i'd better to place a bet with doge or another cheap altcoin. because i think to buy doge or other, we don't need big fund and we can send it directly without take any longer for the transactions. to place a bet, i think if we are gets loss, they amount of course is really big in that altcoin but if we calculate in btc, we are only loss small amount so i think its good to play with altcoin-based casinos. unfortunately, i don't know many of them which have altcoin-based, i think Crypto-Games still accepting altcoin for placing a bets.

I also don't like using altcoins to gamble, there is really little point in doing so for me since I still have to convert my money to bitcoins then to altcoins then deposit it then withdraw it then convert to bitcoins then back to fiat again. That's a tedious process and it expands the process of my betting.

I said nothing about all the sites being scammings or sending payments slowly. It is just that a couple of months ago I was mostly participating in discussions in gambling thread and from those times I remember how some casino was proved to be unfair with poker, some new casinos didn't allow to withdraw the money, there were even conflicts between gamblers and some quite trusted casinos then. Oh, and I remember people complaining about delays in sending payments, especially, the big winnings.

I guess using altcoins as alternatives to bitcoins could a great idea as the transaction speed of bitcoins has been declining over the past months. Also, the fees are also getting ridiculous that we are all incurring huge costs by moving bitcoins around. By using altcoins we can take advantage of their transaction speed and lower fees.

Transaction speed has been due to busy mining pools. You can find many wallet providers are ad that transaction will slow and server issue and other issues as well. Whether it is a bitcoin or any other altcoins you gonna use it same in all the gambling site. Then don't go with the casino, instead you can try in sports and political betting site.

Bitcoin tx fee and time it take to get confirmation is really frustrating thing we have these days, altcoin based casino or the one that accept ETH or other alts are already seeing exponentially growth in alts deposits. Personally I also prefer to bet/play with ETH or LTC, talking about ETH smart contract based games like vdice, I don't think they can provide much entertainment because till now only dice game was developed on it.

Besides that. Ethereum is perfect on casino because the transaction is very cheap and the confirmation time is almost instant. This the feature I like the most on bitcoin but now ETH have it and Bitcoin are starting to left behind due to scaling problem. This thing do really affects the gambling industry on which when we do make use of bitcoin we are really bit worried on the deposit confirmation even we say that they are claiming fast and instant deposits on 1 confirmation it would still vary on blockchain network which would really cause up some delay.There are already lots of gambling sites that do really offer or accept altcoin in terms of playing the site and i can see this is really a good alternative.Less confirmation Less hassle.

Altcoin based casinos are good because they help a certain coin by giving it more uses.
There are some bitcoin casinos that I know that accepts altcoin too so I know a couple like BitSler, Fortunejack, SafeDice.

I don't gamble with Alt-Coins, so it's not interesting for me.
