This is a nice one man, although the interface obviously looks like the site is still seriously under development and i see that you have yielded to some recommendations from this thread and implement them which is very cool and in all, you've done a great job!
So i guess you should be considering adding some more interesting features like switch between ascending and descending order, price charts, + I think since the ranking is based on users ratings, then the rating option/button should be on the front page rather than opening a particular assets information before finding the rate button, it could also be in both places.

Thanks man, I made some updates!

I think that not many people take such sites seriously because they do not trust such ratings. We've seen fake ratings and fake reviews many times already that mislead many people. Unscrupulous projects, therefore, expose their not most enviable position in the best light.

You got a nice website there bro, Just as they said before my comment. It is quite similar to Coinmarketcap, but it is good overall, it is responsive. It's clean and has smooth touch in there.

Great job in developing this website.

The interface was exactly the same on the index page of coinmarketcap.com.

And for the feature of user can give ratings based on their favorites, I think that would be misleading since anyone can just put a random star rating on it.

For example, lowered coins can have lots of stars compare to those top coins.

Is similar but not the same, i'm using bootstrap is like that is used in many site also, but i intend change it.

The idea is the user let review about the cryptos, is about a feelings about it, nothing professional

Your right there is a big similarity with the coinmarketcap in terms of the interface platform. But I don't know how
long this platform will stand here, because for sure you need to establish and build your community first.
And that would be a very hard time to spend before you gonna have a big community, if you can able to build
community that's the question just like CMC. Good luck anyway dude.

I created a new website for the user to leave his review about his favorite currency.
Only someone who cared to share their reviews will take your website seriously. Websites like this are like a curse to the bitcoin ecosystem. Fake reviews, fake ratings,  multiple accounts are the root cause of the websites in this domain. A serious investor or someone who actually needs to know a crypto-currency better doesn't need a user review but his own thorough research on the project. Don't be lying about your website having all the reviews now are actually the users and not your backend code. The number of reviews is more than your website traffic at the moment lol

That's why websites like this are useless since you won't really remove the biased out of anything. That's why everytime I see a ranking or a list of cryptocurrencies being rank I always think about the Chinese Cryptocurrency Ranking list they are giving out frequently where you will see EOS on the number 1 spot,  TRON and ETH on the 2nd and 3rd spot, respectively while Bitcoin is sitting on the 14th spot. You will obviously be clueless on why EOS is number 1 when majority of the industry is not even looking into EOS.

Creating a lower-end version of ICObench is something really not useful when it comes to the crypto industry in general. Just think about it this way we have seen ICO reviews to have some kind of bias in them if not are paid to do so by the projects itself. Your website where all people can put rankings in any cryptocurrency will just make it worst since people can fake the votes just to jack the cryptocurrency's rating, this will mislead a lot of people thinking that this cryptocurrency is really good on something.

The flaw with rating sites like this is "multiple accounts" and also manipulation. There are people out there with the capability to create multiple accounts or access from several different IP Addresses.  Roll Eyes

A new Alt coin developer can quickly pay small amounts of free coins for a favorable review on this site and the potential buyer might think that the reviews are genuine feedback. (Scammers will go a long way to scam people, even creating multiple fake reviews to do it)

It is a good idea, but it is difficult to get a scam free platform to execute it.

At first glance thought it was CMC. Try to change the template or make it unique, crypto enthusiasts love new and simple to read templates its okey to be inspired by CMC but don’t imitate them. Talking about reviews, make it more transparent so that users will be more convinced of the coin ratings.

If you could build a rating/review system with no room for manipulation, that would be fine but you're wasting your time if that's not the case...

I noticed your update interval is set to 10 minutes, you might want to reduce it.

Regarding the Terms and Conditions, it looks like you have used the generic website:

https://www.termsandconditionsgenerator.com/

Probably its best if you can craft your won ToC, doesn't look good if you are just going to used other free tools around. Make it tailor made for you website and services, just my 2 sats.

I don't recommend using bootstrap for projects like this. You might want to create your own design if you're serious about it.

I suggest he not spend any more time on design until he gets an audience.  Bootstrap is great for putting up a site without spending a lot of time on design.

As his site is now, it will gain a little attention, but will not grow beyond the active promotions.  Why do we need an anonymous rating system that can be manipulated, when stats like hash rate, transactions, etc prove how popular a crypto is?

this project will be abandoned very soon. not seeing any valuable reason why we need this new site

but wonder how they claim to be the best site for reviewing currencies???

how can they be so sure that they will have accurate information here?
how do they filter users here if they are just requiring email ad for signup?

Maybe move from the CMC design and create your own web interface. After all you are doing this to grow the site into something big and probably put up ads in future and sell those spaces for money. We know how it works. Cheesy
Yeah and maybe sell to Justin if it gets more traction/visitors like how CMC sold it to CZ.

Well, there's that. On the other hand, it could be a good avenue to rate scam projects like HEX for example and leave feedback that will educate newbies and hopefully convince them to stay away.

If your platform gains enough traction then this 'plagiarism' of design could be an issue. First of all, somebody can easily say that your website is like a phishing website due to the same design and intentionally mislead users as others have mentioned, so it is definitely worth keeping in mind. I don't recommend using bootstrap for projects like this. You might want to create your own design if you're serious about it.

But it may mislead newbies if they later get used to the site and I think will be better if you do the rating according to each crypto 24hours trading volume. Besides, it will also inform the newbies about the coin thats gain more accumulation and likely more price surge in the market.

You will have hard time gaining more users because CoinGecko website for example have very good working website with like/rating feature and much more useful options.

Rating however can be easily faked with multiaccounting so I don't trust any rating very much, and I doubt many people will use website only related to crypto ranking.

I dont see any relevance for putting up some rating or some sort because the price speak for itself that which coin do had been supported by most people or by the community.

We do have our own personal preferences but it doesnt really matter yet majority will really be looking on the global scale or numbers.

Price do speak  for itself in terms of popularity or being favorite.

Indeed. I don't know why the OP would still make a platform that is already common and having no different feature than the others. Crypto reviews are good, but not as good as Coinmarketcap -- as it all have the information with regards to any crypto listed in various exchange platforms. The OP seems to be trying to make a ripoff of it, but honestly if you are a coinmarketcap user, you'd know that it has a crypto rating feature - here's one: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/ratings/

Overall looks are so similar to CMC, but honestly its not that of a big deal. What can make your platform different is of course make it look different and have a feature that is different. Yes you are focused on reviews that is requiring a registration (to prevent spamming a rate of shit coins), but have you tried to make a review on some developing token and inform people with YOUR OWN sights of real-life legitimate projects... for short you could also review tokens that is legit, meaning you must bust scam projects as well, and wouldn't depend on other users insights as many can be paid. just my idea Smiley

All websites which use bootstrap elements by default look similar. You need to make some obvious graphical changes, like no-full screen page.
When someone wants to vote there, registration is mandatory it is okay to prevent multiple voting. However, it would be good to have a comment field as well, so we can read why someone gives only one star or all five stars to some currencies.
It's not the same thing when someone just leaves top ratings without comment or with "good project" words. It's easy for some shitcoin to go on top of the table.
Just want to say that is your system is susceptible to manipulation.

Hence I would suggest you to develop your own template and not copy from other making it very obvious.

Further suggestions would include users to make accounts on the site and leave their reviews on the site, not based on personal opinions but as a general objective overview of the project behind it.

This could be made into something big if you are willing to work on it.
