My New Year ambition is to get fitter. I did a lot of walking since the pandemic started & restrictions were imposed. My ambition is to take up running instead of walking, I’d like to get a lot fitter.

In 2022, I want to do things that will be close to God. Be a little more intuitive and sensitive.

The month of March is almost gone. Has anyone been able to keep and maintain his new year resolution?

This year my resolution is to be very wise in investment.  I don't want to invest in anything I did not understand again. It wasted my money in the past years. I do not want to repeat the mistake again. I will only invest in something that I understand very well.

I know I can't do it alone. I will do as much as I can.

You do not have to think that way when you want to embark on anything to help the people. If you continue to think that way you will be discouraged. It is the same way we see alot of people during church service who do not like giving offering. Does that discourage others from giving offering in church? It does not. And so it should not discourage you too. Start doing good and do not mind what others do.

work out, write, and read more this year

And have you been able to achieve that now or it is abandoned?

Yes, you can. You just have to get your ass in gear and don't expect anybody to help you.
You don't have to solve world hunger all by yourself, but if you can help one human being, you're good. Just get things moving.

I have some resolutions for 2022 in it

1. Last year I wanted to do a lot of things like do a good job. To support family members. Which I didn't want to do before because then Dad would see everything. But now that is not the case. I have almost finished my studies. Now the family members have to support themselves with a good job.

2. I want to do something for the country. So that orphans, poor boys and girls can live a normal life. I know I can't do it alone. I will do as much as I can. Because they also want people to live well. Everyone will pray that I can fulfill all my hopes.

I gave up cigarettes and other drugs - my heart has ached recently.
I started working more and more systematically - if I can keep this state, most of my problems will disappear :-)

It is a good thing to hear this that you have started seeing some changes is encouraging to keep getting better with leaving the habit of smoking. By the way I hear to stop the habit of smoking is a difficult one. Keep trying your best and not to try and go back because you can be worse with that if you go back to your vomit. I am wishing to you the best to keep be better in leaving smoking habit

We usually have a lot of fun and resolutions in the new year.  In our new year we are thinking a lot of new things.  Thanksgiving is upon us, which means the holiday season is in full swing.

I like to visit that board you mentioned and I have come to note that we have retards in other boards too. That bad character is not limited to Politics and Society board alone. I do not need to avoid any section of the forum because of some peoples ill character. What i do is never to respond to their posts. Just ignore them completely.

Yeah, you're right, but I have a hard time keeping cool when I see somebody post "information" that might be harmful to others. Either way, the idea is to get to a point in which all 'tards are ignored, but that's a whole lot of people...
I'm usually not a friend of ignoring people, as I'd found out even the worst idiots can help sometimes,  but it gets to a point one runs out of options...

Thank you Maestro75, it is being executed already. I try to stay away from the "politics and society" board, as I find it to be an idiot magnet, and personally I just avoid stupid people like the plague.

Two things actually:

1. Get a job, or another way to honestly support myself (crypto maybe?).
2. Make a conscious effort to distance myself from stupid people. I keep getting upset for things I can't fix, and I'm gonna end up getting another stroke, and I can't afford that.

Your second resolution is necessary and it should be promptly executed to avoid a calamity happening to you. Please take care of yourself above all things. I hate being around stupid people too. They make you go insane.

I think our biggest mistake is to try to reason with them, as nobody can be THAT stupid. I think they do it for shock value, just to "have fun" watching people waste their time on them. The "ignore" function is proving to be very useful in that regard.

My New Years resolution for 2022 is really about getting in a better physical fitness routine.
I want to start working out 4 times a week for 20 minutes in the morning before work.
I recently moved to a new place with a gym and this is a great opportunity to build new habits.

As it is the custom with many people at the end of every year going into a new one we draw up tables, either on papers or in our minds of what we will not be doing or that which we will do that we did not do in the previous year. I have heard of those who said they will not smoke, or keep malice or womanize or fight in the next year. Most times they do not keep to it. They fail terribly at it. My resolution this year is to allocate more time to things that get me closer to God. Be more committed to religious activities and the less privileged in the society.

What is your resolution for 2022?
