There was a checkbox explaining those restrictions right above the registration button, and you had to check it to activate the button, so...
What do you prefer I call you? Blind, dumb or illiterate?

Let's not even talk about the sticky in this same forum...

Or the billions of topics right here in this forum about this exact situation.

Using certain sites' search functions seems to be very advanced for persons who usually use google to find facebook. Roll Eyes

I've seen people use the key word "google" on google to google for something. Nothing surprises me anymore.

I think with the craziness of the market lately and the amount of Btc I've lost at my attempts at day trading, I'm going to have to pick up drinking...

My first post, and  Shocked this topic. What a way to start off on the forum

With enough time and alcohol, you'll forget all about it Grin

Why, I vaguely remember my first...  Ahh, she was a beauty...

I mean.  What?

this is ridiculous! attn mods - there is no super obvious details about these restrictions. I've been a member for a while now and gave up trying to find why i couldn't post. ended up finding this section from a google search and then finding another post from another person asking why they cant post.... maybs put it in the registration? or am i just blind?

Newbie Restrictions, at the top of the page.

"Due to a mass of trolling, only established posters are able to post in non-newbie sections. You are considered "established" if you have spent 4 hours online and have made 5 posts (new topics or replies).

If you have really good posts, you can post a request for preemptive whitelisting in the appropriate topic.

Also:
- Newbies cannot upload their own avatars.
- You must have made one post in order to send PMs.
- You need 10 posts to put a link in your signature.

Note that it may take up to 10 minutes for your PM or posting permissions to be granted. (The system automatically checks every 10 minutes and promotes people as appropriate.)"
