Hi

Newb myself. From down under. My understand is we are 6-12 months to late to get in to the mining game ?
I bought some Litecoins from a friend when I had no idea about any of this. I got 100 for $1 each. My friend is honest but I did feel cheated at the time. I am chuffed at the current price =D

I thought I was smug buying mine at £3 each lol.

Thanks for your replies. Advice taken guybrush. You have a point. I see a lot of new coins are being banded about, so I'll be careful about investment pointers on here. 'Crap coins' is probably what a lot of these are.

And Sydcoin...I envy you. Wink

You've got a great investment there for you 100 dollars.

Hello, first of all.

I've been following the cryptocurrencies for a short while and my main focus is on the smaller alternative ones for now. Any hints on which of these are good to mine or invest in would be greatly appreciated. There seems to be a lot out there and finding the right one to start with seems confusing at the mo. For example, is it worth investing in a few quarks at the moment. I mean like a couple of hundred.
As said, total newb here. Have a basic understanding of this, but don't want to flush my time and money down into a alt coin that will maybe not exist in a few months.

Thanks.

It's not really that productive asking which coins to mine around here because all you'll get is a load of biased opinions from newbs who hold that particular coin so it's in their interest to pimp out, so I'd be careful about mining or investing in these crapcoins that pop up.
