Right on guys, thanks for the responses, iv been spending more time on here and I guess didn't realize the scope of how many people the mods have to look over, I stopped posting things with the standard of meeting others quality and have tried to just put meaningful things and valid questions going forward.
Glad I made the post, it helped me build perspective.

Hey mate,

I am just starting here and read your post. I believe that if it happens to you it happens to all as well, it will just take time to increase activity and to be recognized. I found most of the material here really helpful, since I feel like a newbie compared to the old sharks around here.

Time and patience! Smiley

Good luck!

I have no idea what other moderators do, but I don't have time to single out people. If I see a post that breaks forum rules, I remove it (if I can, else I report it). Often I don't even check their username, because I do not care who makes the post. There are thousands of members on this forum and a shit ton of posts are made each day, so I really do not have time to single out someone. By the time someone contacts me, I've already removed more posts and totally forgotten who posted what.

I'm sorry you feel this way and if you see posts like yours that were removed, feel free to report them. That way we can actually do something about them.

...this chat is like a cult where the higher ups are trying to not let new people get higher ranks, so they can keep the air drops for themselves for as long as possible. ...

Believe me, most people don't care about the airdrops or don't even know about them. Airdrops and signature campaigns are a newbie thing.

odolvlobo,

I just noticed your link to my ignore list in your Sig.

I haven't updated that list in a VERY long time (almost 2 years now?!).  It probably isn't very useful anymore.

I'll get that updated again this week, thanks for the reminder.

It's almost impossible to have any talks with someone on this without me just repeating what one of the 30 people who responded have already repeated over and over.

Please do NOT repeat what others have already said in the thread. I report EVERY post I see like that.  If you don't have anything new and helpful to contribute to the conversation, then simply read and learn.

It's like saying the rules only apply to newbies.

I make an extra effort to report useless posts and nonsense from anyone with a Sig Ad.  If you aren't useful and helpful (or at least making an effort to actually learn), and you have a Sig Ad, then I'd prefer you weren't here at all.

I'm typically more lenient on anyone with a "Newbie" rank.  If one or two posts from a Newbie seem worthless, but they are actively trying to learn and participate, then I don't typically report them.  However, if a Newbie (or Sig Ad) creates multiple posts per day, and the majority of those posts are nonsense or worthless, then I will take the time to go through their posting history and report EVERY nonsense post THEY HAVE EVER MADE.

If you are here to learn and to help others learn, then I'll do everything I can to help you.

If you are here to flood threads with spam and graffiti, then I'll do everything I can to get rid of you.

If my post is identical to 30 other posts that don't get taken down, that is the definition of being singled out, yes.
You do not necessarily have to interpret this like that, sometimes your answer may differ in some detail, which is why it has been removed, be still active, and does not bother with such complications.

I guess it just seems that way too me because literally the posts before mine didnt get removed and the people posting the same short thank you or question posts after mine was removed, end up staying, the only difference is the rank of the person. It's like saying the rules only apply to newbies.
But whatever I'm over it, this chat is like a cult where tthe higher ups are trying to not let new people get higher ranks, so they can keep the air drops for themselves for as long as possible. At least that's how this is coming off, and I'm seeing more people in this verbally bash new users than try to help them and this has been talked about in more than one group I'm apart of.

If you keep having posts removed then you're obviously doing something wrong. Maybe someone keeps reporting your posts, but I would suggest you read the rules and work out what you're doing wrong to avoid further deletions.

While their useless "tks" or "thanks for air drop" stays?

Those sorts of posts are against the rules and will get removed if you report them but it is incredibly time consuming to remove hundreds of posts like this so it takes time. You can help out by reporting them yourself.

Sorry for being skeptical. Why do you believe that you were picked to be the single user whose posts get removed? There are over 1 million user accounts on Bitcointalk. Do you believe that you were randomly selected, or do you believe that the moderators chose you specifically?

Why do some of my posts get singled out when other posts say less or the same things as mine. Mine get removed but theirs stay. I have like 400 examples. Why am I being singled out and why is it OK for others to post almost nothing to increase activity, yet, even a legit question of mine gets removed. While their useless "tks" or "thanks for air drop" stays?
I want to understand the favoritism. It's almost impossible to have any talk swith someone on this without me just repeating what one of the 30 people who respoded have already repeated over and over.
It is just normal for your post to be removed by a moderator when it is not very constructive and also when the contents of your post was already seen a dozen times over on a thread or more. There are also some cases where the post is not deleted by a moderator but instead the thread you have posted itself has been deleted by the OP. Don't worry you are not the only one experiencing that kind of dilemma other users have similar experience.
