Check do they have organic buyers in their telegram group
No such method to check. Telegram groups are filled with >50% bots and getting inorganic traffic is easy by paying people to add such fake accounts. Social media buzz is never a method to check legitimacy of a project in fact it is the opposite but there is no way to check who is a real investor and who is not. Everyone is free to join a group.

Quote
who are their partners
Partners are nothing but names who have some stakes, they are going to sell one fine day before you know it and never come back. They are in it for the money and the promotions. They dont really care about the retail investors.

Quote
and where they are going to list their token
Wrong, because a project on a low spending budget would not be listed on a big exchange at first because of lack of trading volume. Next a project which is going as IEO would be already listed but again that does not mean it is legitimate. The exchange gets paid for listing and that is what they want. If the project turns out to be scam, the exchange might delist them and close cooperation - they are not going to be responsible for the losses incurred of other people.

And check the activity of their telegram group
Wrong, read what I wrote above. Roll Eyes

well I think so too, in my opinion it seems now more difficult to detect an honest project, like the information that I got a few days ago sometimes they are grouped to attract supporters and after successfully they leave without caring about the supporters of the project, it seems that now it is increasingly difficult to follow campaign projects only have very little basic information
In around 2017-2018 which many ICO is announce and a lot of project is scam. It is really hard to detect which project is legit but now becuse of IEO it is way better now than before.
Is there still an exchange that holds IEO?

I haven't got the information anymore like in Binance launchpad or OKEx jumpstart. Because the two exchanges are the best place to invest in IEO in my perspective.
What you need to do to check icodrop gradually to get the latest news about the latest IEO that launched on the major launchpad platforms and last month we have seen okex was launching 2 projects on its jumpstart platform.

We can really say that IEO is better than ICO's but to know that they do need up for you to buy up their exchange token first before you would able to do so

and the required amount of coins wont really be a small one. Therefore, i can say that IEO is somewhat an advantageous for those who do have bigger funds

to allocate on but with the rest? Its hard to participate on.

I think IEO is the better option if you want to verify a good project, even otherwise you can get more accurate ideas about that project but you need to know more and you have to do it efficiently. However, i was presented with a topic on this matter so come here and you can read something. Good project reviews

very true in that year I became very hesitant to determine what the next step if the project that I followed scam I thought I would just waste time, so from that for last year I became lazy to follow a project, well at least now is still better than before.

well maybe it's better to choose a famous or top exchange, even though the fee is expensive but reliable and can be calm because these 2 exchanges are good.

in my opinion maybe not too easily tempted by what is offered on his white paper, it is true looking for info on the white paper is also necessary, but besides that we should also check the thread in BTT to find information about the project, also check how many supporters in spretsheet how many rank heroes / legends who follow, in my opinion more and more followers with high ranks who follow the project might be a good project, this is only in my opinion.
I think if a lot of high ranks follow a project that they are promoting, that's not necessarily it will work because it all depends on the team that manages the project and whether they are always active or not. sometimes we do not know what will happen to the project that we follow.

Hi guys!
I'm a newbie in bounty campaign program, recently the two bounty campaign (1strade and Blobflow) I started with ends up not succeeding as the teams in charge says they can't continue with the program, So sad (for starting) though because I decided to do the campaign after reading their white paper and a little background check.
So my question is what are those things to be considered aside project white paper before taking up bounty Campaign.
Thanks. Cheers

I also think it's hard if it's like that, even though we've also examined a little bit of information obtained from campaign projects that should be useful but it doesn't guarantee either, I've been like you several times and I'm sympathetic with you, hopefully you get a non-deceptive campaign project in the next period, and this seems like a trial for bounty hunters in my opinion anyway

Some bounties are scam and they are easy to figure out but not all of them, doing bounties today is like trying out how lucky you are, sometimes you get bad results and sometimes you get good results, get used to it, it's not that bad.
Chances are those that are scam and easy to detect wont last long enough to "raise" funds and scam investors, likely to get called out and shut down by this forum's scam accusations. However scammers are intelligent and that is why they can scam, so they devise newer methods to make their team pictures undetectable by AI reverse searches, modify whitepapers to make it seem legit. Sometimes they get caught by the newly registered domain name but they continue to exist.

I wont say that people should get used to it but rather start to abhor ICO projects. It has been scamming investors of money and bounty hunters of their time and hard work. People need to use their judgement properly.
They are becoming sophisticated when a certain way or method of scamming had already been known or bust up thats why we do see different ways of scamming out that we havent known yet in the past.
Scammers are intelligent ones and do continue to improve as long they can able to extract out money out of those fool people whom do easily believe by just showing off some realistic
models or presentation. This situation wont really stopped as long there are people who do keep on feeding up these guys.Bounty is highly affected thats why its much better to completely stop
on wasting up your time and resources with these things.

The platform should be the big concern here, it should be something that the community will adopt, every coin that comes along has a platform or product attach to it, you should ask if this platform and will become a huge success and will contribute to the community, I have seen so many failed in their attempt  to do crowdfunding not because they lack the marketing but because the platform or product is not something that will become popular.

Opportunity for be paid when joining a bounty project for now is very difficult if you don't find a really good project. Especially if you find a project that fails or scams, it is a risk of a bounty hunter. In fact, I am often not paid by bounty projects that work for months or even years. If you are a beginner, you will get used to this kind of thing and you have to participate in many bounty projects to get paid, maybe not all bounty projects that you participate in will pay you later.
I agree with you, first when I was just starting to follow the bounty campaign, I had felt something like that, but over time I got used to it and chose to look for information first and then confirm. although because it is difficult to ensure things like this but if the information is valid from supporters, it might end well and pay the followers of the campaign.

instead of just new projects, but sometimes there are old projects that have not yet entered the popular market, for example like easyfeadbeck they have made sales at tokpie and almost 1 year more have not yet entered the popular market as well, even though their project is in my opinion an active project
The projects like them may get listed but the point is that every project needs a product to rely on and to develop it further. If that is being underdeveloped or neglected by their devs for whatever reason the project will not get enough marketing. Demand does not generate completely on its own even by the investors. There needs to be an organic growth of new investors because of the market of that product. Most projects failed to develop that market.

There is also the problem of some exchanges predating on coin offerings and asking them huge listing fees. This is a side effect of crypto not being regulated. But that can be prevented if you just stick to bitcoin and the top altcoins.

These two bounty projects you made mentioned failed to raise the needy money for development, I'm glad they come out plain about the failure, it means they are sincere, for some they will pretend they've raised good money to lure investors.

There are ways you can detect if a project is good or bad but not 100% accurate because it's hard to know what projects team have in plan or how serious they are.

1. Do deep research on team, make sure they are real people and not stolen identity

2. Make sure the project have good use case, and good roadmap.

3. Ask the team about the future plans for the project, make sure they are tough questions, if they answer few and leave some that's no good

It caused by the majority of those projects are new project. Remember when we can choose the right project and we will get a lot of advantage from there. Remember about jarvis network token and it has been paying a lot of money to the hunters.

reason for this is because  listing also need to be paid by owner of the project and if you want to list in popular exchange you need to also pay higher amount than normal listing from other unpopular  exchange.

At the same time popular exchange can't decide to.list their coins without reviewing a project, its not that easy to be listed there.

This is a good thread to read up about exchangers and its corresponding fees including listing: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/crypto-exchanges-comparison-trade-fee-listing-fee-age-mobile-app-more-5079048

You can actually list out your project with Binance but that would really be a hard stuff to be done yet lots of things to be considered first for you to be selected.

We know that most projects now are shit and if they do get listed they do end up on shitty projects.

So my question is what are those things to be considered aside project white paper before taking up bounty Campaign.
See how active the team is also needed. First you've to match the roadmap and the actual situation, such as the identity of the site, social media or community groups. How did the project begin until when you found it can be seen from the active team that announces the development of the project at any time before it can be commercialized.
Although I'm not involved in bounties, sometimes I see several projects starting bounties or airdrops as soon as they start building (most projects issue ERC20 tokens). I think it's a big mistake because of how they might convince people by marketing earlier while their project has just been built. Even all of their social media accounts have just been created. That means they will take longer to be listed on the exchanges and are likely to be abandoned by investors before that happens. And of course, bounty hunters will only get untradeable tokens or coins.

but it is possible that you will earn if the token is already listed on some popular exchange like kucoin.
And also some token take time before they got listed on some exchange. Some project just make promises that they will be listed but in the end they did not, so make sure for newbies to study first the project if they got potential so your effort and time will not be waste.
there are rarely projects that have been listed in popular markets, there are only a few bounties now that already exist in popular markets, and most of them haven't entered the market yet,

i suggest you to join a telegram group with bounty campaign. Make sure the bounty manager is trusted and supportive , because he will make sure the bounty campaign is legit and paying. When i choice bounty campaign it is better if the token or altcoins is already listed on any exchange.
now there are quite a lot of projects that have entered the market, but the results are the same, they postpone the payment of bounties for a very long time, in my opinion it is better to look for bounties that have good potential even though they have not yet entered the market, you should always read their whitepaper

It takes only a second to shut down a channel if the owners decide to sell off the project/blanket scam the investors. Having a telegram channel is a mode of communication only. Not a sign of legitimacy. You can never know who the admins really were and/or legally pursue them if you are an investor.

That is the not the manager job. You are making a wrong over-simplification of terms. Manager only manages the campaign and get the data sheet out for the allotted payments of each member. They have not power if the owners decide to shut down the bounty.

Thats weird because most tokens are sold before they are released. If you refer to IEOs, then good luck selling them.

You have to study the whole project carefully before taking the decision of participating in its bounty. Not only the whitepaper, but you have also to check the team behind the project and make sure they aren't fake, and they are experienced enough. Also, you have to make sure the product of the project is really needed.

Project legitimacy and transparency should really be the first thing to be checked first.

-Legit Team
-Realistic Goal
-IRL usage/ contribution

Even though you have these things,it doesnt mean that the project would succeed into their sale.It all matters with the demand
if investors do tend to support it or not. There are common cases that no matter how good it is, most project do end up
hanging on the air.

First, you must read some guidelines and rules here in the forum then study about blockchain and cryptcurrency. Its a way to useful to learn first before joining in bounty campaigns. It will help you to find a good campaigns so that you will not get scam again. Bounty campaigns are not in good shape right now. Most of them got failed and bounty hunters are also the one who suffered in the end. Paying them with nothing and just a waste of their efforts. You can also join in btc paying campaigns but requires a high rank so you must rank up first so that you can join them.

Thanks. Cheers

I think there is no guarantee in choosing a bounty if it will be successful or not but there are things that I consider when choosing a bounty, one is looking for BM background if he/she handled a successful bounty and with good trust rating (dig into its past handled bounties). Two choose bounties that are listed in the market. (some bounties that they offer today are already listed in the market🤑). and Three check if the project can really achieve what they are aiming for (If its possible, realistic and will work not a daydream project)

I nearly joined 1strade bounty at that time but after doing my own research i find out that the team is very limited and there is no proof of any partnership, just a new standalone crypto exchange so I opt out, these are few things to look at when picking a project, team and partnerships is very important too

So experienced bounty hunters faced kinda problem, the situation is constantly being made. I joined some bounties those are paused in middle way i mean just some weeks active. If this is team decision for many reasons, here no control by bounty manager.

But newbies joined a lot of scam campaign, i saw lots of people who work. Mostly scammed projects promoted by newbies.

What bounty campaign that you join for? I mean for social media campaign or etc? Because in your currently account you can't participate to join signature campaign.

Regardless some part to choose bounty project is the manager itself. Please don't demean the performance of the bounty manager because it will determine whether you get the money or not.

The good bounty manager will selective to choose the project that will be promoted. He will find first even make an analyst against the project because if the project is scam at the end they will head many risk for his reputable on this forum.

Newbies should spend time learning about what makes project better than others, we have too many repetitive projects that are simply nothing but money grabbers in crypto space now, i prefer to promote three to five very good project than promoting many unrealistic projects, learn to do research

I checked out those two bounty projects at the time they were introduced and i find out they aren't worth my time, what you lack is how to detect good bounty project, you should do the findings yourself, do not be afraid of making mistakes, I've wasted a year on bad projects until i learnt the difference

Keep in mind that every time you join a bounty campaign, you need to look at the background of the project and many others, such as white paper, token allocation teams, sales of IEO, all research must be done, as long as you join, it will be risky if you don't do this research.
In first joining the bounty there must be failure and try to find a campaign that you know from the background first.
your correct but first we need to confirm who is a campaign manager of the project because many newbies just start the campaign for scam projects with their own team who have experienced in this forum with their alts.
We need to analyse the team and white paper to examine the legitimacy of the projects.

Majority of bounties nowadays seems promising because of their well executed whitepaper, roadmap and solid team but these criteria are not only the basis to say if the project is genuine or not.

Many factors are need to consider before joining in a bounties. Actually here in the forum you can find important information on how to spot a good project just make an effort and take your time learning since you're still a newbie. Do an extensive research and take your time before joining in a bounties.

Paying Bounties is to too hard to find now, especially for newbies. We need to be diligent in finding whether the project will succeed and whether it is a legit project. We will be able to analyze it by closely watching wbow the response when the participants ask for payment and that they not delay in paying or moves the payment date every time.

Sad to say but in reality, bounty camping right now isn't profitable because there were only few projects got what they are expecting, in short most of them are failed to achieve their goal because of market problem.

Analysing first the white paper before joining bounty campaign is good, but we cannot guarantee that having a good plan they can get what they are expecting, first we need to consider the market situation, that why if you what to join bounty projects now you need to be ready to take the risk.

Good luck.

Right now there's hardly a decent project, that's likely to succeed, I have participated on so many bounty campaigns that I thought will succeed only to find out that they are not getting enough support from investors, and even they get funded you will have to wait for months to get the token in the market and the worst the price is not what you expected.

there isn't a project worth promoting these days because almost all concept of projects are already exploited by the scammers or if not, they can't generate funds for the development of the project. it could either investors are not trusting projects today are its just that the project aren't doable that investors knew its a no good project. what a newbie can do i guess is just join the BTC paying campaigns or earn something to buy  BTC and trade.

its a harsh environment for newbie bounty hunters but if you could rank your way up which there are guide to get merits like this one https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/such-guide-guaranteed-method-to-earn-many-merits-statistically-proven-5126690

For now, although whitepaper or anything else look promising, it not means the project is good. If want to get project that reach at least softcap, look which still hyped by people. But it is not guarantee too if the project will success in market. We bounty hunters can do anything about that maybe can rely on luck to  get good project, good payment, and good price in market.
Yes you are right for that, I also feel the same way with all the current projects. Whitepaper or just researching all the teams, it will not guarantee that everything will go well for the project they are working on, because they explain all their vision and mission for the good but nothing is right, and that is only to convince all those who want to invest in their project, prize hunters enthusiastically join in promoting their project but after the project has been running for several months they disappear without informing about the clarity of the project or its distribution.

It's hard to identify new project now that are successful or failure. The project itself are more likely to resemble each other, so to compete in the market, those new project need an extra funds to survive in the market. Also the team itself should have an excellent portfolio in cryptocurrency industry.

It is very difficult for you to find a successful bounty at the current stage, the current market is collapsing and new projects cannot succeed. So no matter how thoroughly you examine them, they may not succeed in the end because of the poor market situation. If I'm serious, the current bounty is dead

That was the exact reason stated by the team of those campaigns,
It means one should think twice before taking up any bounty campaign and even while doing it, one should have have it back of his mind that it might turn out to be failure or a scam or the two together

So sad for you mate. Before doing any campaign make sure that you check up everything. The team profile and their credentials. Maybe they are just anonymous people who are using other profile of professionals. That's a very difficult job actually cause we can never know who will do scam cause scammers nowadays are smarter and knows how to handle a good demonstration as if they have a real project to promote. Be careful and just be vigilant.
Thanks.

You have to understand that you are a newbie in the forum. Know about the forum before you sell yourself for a couple of shitcoins. I dont get why you all just come here to get paid, dont you all ever get any interest in knowing about bitcoin and its uses?

It is actually useless to even check them nowadays. You have 1 in a 100 chances of getting a good project to join in and even then there is a risk of forced KYC which is always identity theft.

Quote

Stop doing bounties. Take part in the forum, learn about bitcoin, gradually grow your account to a decent rank and join a bitcoin paying campaign. Bounty is a waste of time. If you have some skills in development then you might get some odd jobs here for the time being.

Dont expect to come to this forum to get paid for free. Those days are long over.

Alright, thanks for this reply, I'm really learning my lessons as newbie. But which part of the forum can really be of help in learning more about bitcoin, growing of account and eventually capable to join bitcoin paying campaign.
Thanks.

Bounties are now nothing but gamble and only your luck can make it worthwhile, no matter how promising the project might seem they can fail for one reason or the other, as a bounty hunter it's a risk we take that we may never get anything

Verify everything!

Read up WP, Check Roadmap and most of all try to search for its team/devs which arent anonymous.
Stick with realistic project goals rather than to those who do made such unrealistic ones. Its sad that you experience it
on your first try but dont be surprised because bounty becomes shitty since 2018 after that bull run event.
Good thing that you do know how to research first before joining those bounties.Reminders, even though you verify
about legitimacy but it doesnt mean that it would succeed in the very end.

whitepapers and so on are mandatory for initial monitoring, but there are things that must be ensured during the campaign about how their marketing process works and also their attitude in establishing communication with active groups. If you are not satisfied with their answers about what will be done with their coins after ICO, and also communication that cannot explain their project transparently, then you should rethink to join.

A lot of things if you want to commit yourself to bounties. But, most of the time many bounties will not pay their participants for doing the task they are giving so it's best for you to find another niche that you want to earn an extra through participation.

But if you really want to commit your time into bounties, one factor could be looking at the reputation of the bounty manager. Look at his history and see how many successful projects did he participated and managed for the past years of managing campaigns.

Nowadays many scam project has been erased and there speaking some experienced white paper writer from some freelancing websites. By help of them they were completing the white paper but some cam freelancers doesn't provide the perfect one out that they were copying the template from some other ICO projects.
So always welcome King into project whether it is a campaign or investment you need to to look for the team and where activeness on their telegram and there white paper.
If they are fine in all these three e I can easily go and invest on them or work as the bounty participant.

Even you know and do consider those metrics it still be useless as what the others mentioned above, you'll just wasting your time.
You're long way late as bounty era was over and there's no way it will back.

I would suggest to invest on freelancing skills that you could use in freelancing world. Start with fiverr platform, upwork and many freelancing platform.
