Welcome to both of you! If you are new to Bitcoin, then I recommend you go to the gambling section. There are a lot of sites giving out 0.01 which is worth around $2. I recommend that you withdraw that money instead of gambling it though.

... I'm glad they opened up back registration.
i must have missed that bitcointalk was closed for new registrations, when was this and how long did it last?i suspect this had a spam-related background?
