as i understand you sent your STEEMS to your bitcoin wallet. at bittrex it has a warning ; ''Depositing tokens to this address other than BTC will result in your funds being lost.''

Hi Guys,
I purchased a quantity of STEEM yesterday for the first time from coinspot. I then downloaded electrum desktop base as I believed it was a safe wallet to store the STEEM not realising that some wallets only store certain cryptocurrency. I then went into my electrum wallet and clicked recieve which then generated a receive address for the electrum wallet. I copied and pasted that into send from coinspot for all my STEEM and the transaction was completed. However now i CANT find the STEEM in my electrum wallet and it shows a transaction to the address on coinspot and the STEEM are no longer in coinspot either Can someone please tell me whats going on and if I can regain these STEEM or if they are gone forever ??
