Well, you should stop before you kill your nice laptop. Buy some ASIC if you are interested in mining.

thats a stupid thing to say, as long as the laptop is kept cool then you have no issues what so ever. that being said i mine with 2 different laptops.
i CPU mine with a toshiba i7 laptop and cpu and gpu mine with a brand new alienware laptop... both the i7 4900 cpu and the nvidia 780 get thrashed out on Cnote coins lol..... never had an issue or an overheat.

Well , then I find no problem in using my ASUS Vivobook with i5 4th gen and nvidia 740m for CPU mining sir  Grin

Is there anyway I can see that? It's not overheated Smiley
Use coretemp for cpu temperature and gpu-z for graphic cards temperature. Both programs are portable so you don't need to install anything.

CPU mining? Go only if you have free electricity.
So if you don't have any rig than just search for 100% POS giveaways coins and also go with the paid signature programs.

You must scout for new coins that have something special and mine them from the beginning. Then sell them when you think the are at their peak.

Or just simple advice, buy low, sell cheap  Grin

Hello , I just started mining , right now Im going for the DuckNote coin. But I wanna know more about mining!

First I'll just try it out and see if I can get anything out of it. What is the most effective way of earning coins? Through new coming coins , announcements (altcoins) ? Should I mine it from the very start and sell it afterwards when it gets more worth? Give me advices!

haha ^^
