Coinbase have to link your bank account to go... and they charge 1$ + 1% ... is it expensive
LocalBitcoins is a peer-to-peer Bitcoin exchange. This is a  good place to buy and Sell coins. You may find some very good offer waiting just for you. Have a look.

Coinbase is a good way to buy.  They do ask for a lot of ID info, but it seem like it is trustworthy from all the things I have read.  I haven't had any problems with them.

i'm using local wallet to, but it's too dangerous due to the controll over the private key, yeah we dont have ultimate controll over our private key, but it's really easy if we convert our bitcoin in to fiat, but for stored my bitcoin i'll go with blockchain, it's really safest than stored them on coinbase or any other exchanger

True, just don't put all your golds in one bank.  Wink

Well, I only have a few satoshis for now. Trust me, my wallet will make history when he got 1BTC.  Cheesy

As quoted blockchain wallet is better in all ways of use. Even it has got feature of advancement in securing. Most users don't use all those just to avoid several step by step process. And as said its better have few wallets to store your bitcoin for our security.

A local wallet will be a great advantage, like what we use here in the Philippines - coins.ph.

any service will charge you something for the job they are doing for you. i am not sure about the amount but $1+1% is a good deal since they are a reputable organization that you can easily trust.

For me,

A local wallet will be a great advantage, like what we use here in the Philippines - coins.ph. Why? Due to bitcoins can be easily withdrawn or deposited with the nearest convenient stores. But if you are purely online, coinbase and blockchain is what I will suggest.

Its better to do trade based on the country you reside. If you are from European nation its better to use kraiken, else try using local bitcoins which seems secure and easy to do trade.

Check kraken, localbitcoins or coinbase these three are very much well known and trusted among the Europeans. It will help you to buy and sell bitcoin easily.
The OP wants a website where he has not to verify his ID and only localbitcoins is right for him where he can have cash deals without verifying the identity. Else there are many trusted websites which need an identity proof while exchanging coins.
You shouldn't get scared of verifying your identity with reputed options like kraken as they are very trusted. Even circle.com is highly trusted and the websites that verify users should be trusted more than those that don't use any verification as you can meet more scammers on those websites. It's better to be safe and go through the verification.

If you don't want to verify your ID to buy bitcoins, you can try opening a thread in the Currency Exchange section and only trade with trusted users else use an escrow while trading with newbies/untrusted users.
Yes, without revealing your ID you can buy bitcoins either in a physical person to person meet up or through PM in Currency exchange section with an Escrow. There are other forums as well where you can buy bitcoins like TBN.

If your located in the USA coinbase is the best way IMO.
Outside the USA I couldn't tell you. I would localbitcoins also, might pay a little more but you don't have to give bank account info and an ID if that stuff throws you off.
even if hes outside U.S i still suggest coinbase. im currently in canada and i always use coinbase to buy/sell my coins, its just so simple and easy
Now Coinbase is supporting 32 countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Coinbase is based in San Francisco, California, so yes it is American company.
To be honest, even Pentagon was hacked few times, so yes they can be hacked.

If you want to know more, just read attached articles or google about Coinbase - everywhere you will have this same informations - atm it is the most secure wallet and exchange online.

coinbase is asking for a lot of info.  are they legit?

Coinbase have the best security from all wallets and exchanges on market!
Here you have little overview:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/overview-wallet-and-exchange-security-review-updated-feb-22-2016-1364126

Here you have more info about how big is this project:

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/22/business/dealbook/the-benefits-of-allowing-bitcoin-to-flourish.html?_r=1

Are they an American company?  Is there any chance they will get hacked like cryptsy or mtgox?

Localbitcoins

About localbitcoins, is it safe to make transactions there ?

What I have to check about the sellers to be sure that all is good ?

I understand that localbitcoins is a wallet too, I will receive the BC bought on it but is it easy to transfer to my personal wallet like Bread in my iphone ?

thanks for help

Its safe Just check the total trade of the trader whom you are choosing and check about his recent trade as well. most esential one Don't release your bitcoin before you receive the fiat to your bank account.
Then your fund will be safe under escrow So no need to worry about it.

Unfortunately the safest exchanges require identification. I suggest that you check online wallet and exchange that you can see in my signature. It is certainly one of the safest on the market.
As you wrote, you're newbie here, so whenever someone suggests something like I'm doing now. Very carefully check everything. This forum has a lot of content. So the easiest way to find what you are looking for is to use search engine at the top right of the page.

plz help me im super newbie...
That someone needs to have a reputation on this forum and even if they are highly trustworthy, you need to check their trust list to see if their password has been changed or not as users even sell their accounts here. Use an escrow in case of doubt else you can try localbitcoins which is safer.

plz help me im super newbie...

Just create a account in localbitcoins.com just open a trade with the trader according to trust and trade count. Then go with the trade to that specified person. Your fund will under escrow whether in fiat or bitcoin. So once trader send a money or bitcoin you then check it and release the bitcoin.
Its very simple to use to dude. Check with that.

And look for high trust score and read the step by step if how to deposit or convert your perfect money. you can deposit usd in your perfect money and exchange it to bitcoin find a trusted exchanger there and find low fee's. you can also exchange your perfectmoney to someone here in our currency exchange section... I hope it helps

I'm in Canada, Montréal Quebec. Thanks

NB here, I get my coins from QuadrigaCX. You can go to Canada Post and send a money order up to $999 to Quadriga, and you can do this fairly anonymously (They will accept money orders with any name on it as long as it matches the account, and Canada Post hasn't yet asked for my ID so far). Just make sure your account number and name are on the money order.

You can use Xapo or coinbase to buy bitcoins. I think Xapo is better than other sites. It has his own vault. You can store your bitcoins in Xapo vault for long time because it's a cold storage.

About circle is it possible to buy BTC and send it to my bread IOS Apple apps ?
I do not see anywhere the price they ask for ?
I have an "ATM" (http://instacoinatm.com/index-en.html) here but they sell the BTC very high (417US$)

Yes BTC ATM's usualy charge a premium 2-3.5%

If you make an account at circle you can easily log into it via your phone, copy past your bread wallet address into the withdraw feild and your done. Same goes for any other service like coinbase, kraken ect.

AFAIK coinbase just takes the money from an account. Once your verified funds are pretty much instance both ways. BTC will be in your coinbase wallet instantly and you can transfer out at you leisure. Just don't send it to dark marketplaces or gambling sites. They black list them and will suspend your account.

If you don't have an ID it will be tough to get it with all the KYC restriction.

Have you tried a Bitcoin ATM? Look for one near you. The one nearest me requires a photo ID and email verification for set up but it takes less then a min. Place cash in and get Bitcoin on your phone.

Mycelium for android
Bread wallet for Apple

These are the best

How about Circle.com?  I'm not sure about what geographic restrictions they have but it's worth a shot.  They're pretty good.  Beware of people in this forum, especially those who might try to solicit business via PM.  There are tons of scammers and you need to figure out who's who and who you can trust.  Good luck.

Without the ID you will be difficult to buy Bitcoin, but you can still buy a bitcoin without ID and need some time by selling goods you have in the auction thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=73.0

Or if you have other money such as Paypal, Perfect Money, etc you can trade it in thread Currency exchange https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0

I think it can help you buy bitcoin without ID here  Smiley

localbitcoins are not available in my state (Quebec) and I see that I have to give all bank account infos in coinbase.

The other thing with coinbase I have to transfer $ to coinbase first before to buy from coinbase wallet. this is annoying. is it easy to transfer BTC to my wallet after that ?

Anyway I would like transfer but for buying, not for wallet I already have one. I don't know if I'm right...
