I think the advantage of Middlecoin is that the man behind the curtains is applying (or, at least, can apply as needed) more than an algorithm to make mining and exchange decisions, as evidenced by the recent dogecoin expedition. No one predicted it would be such an explosion, and while middlecoin hashed away at doge, other pools were rushing to add it.

Hey Thanks for the reply. Well there is already a tool CGWatcher which you can set to change pools every X hours based on coinchoose. It seems to be a pretty good tool and almost does what I wanted to build

I was not going to build a pool . I don't know how to build one yet anyways Grin

Hi All,

I just started mining, made my 2.5MH rig and started on middlecoin after doing some research. What do you guys suggest it that a safe start. I dont care about the cost of hardware. I just want to make sure I can pay my electricity

... After doing some research its actually not very difficult to make something like middle-coin locally ( I am a programmer myself ) Any of you guys thought about making something similar ?
