The newbie board is no more, if you check this forum's meta you will see the changes in activity to get promoted to other ranks and all subforums are open for newbies to post.
Why were they lifted? Because people stopped spamming the boards or something?
because i think 2h and 5 msg is a little bit much for "anti-spam"The restriction was never that lol.

Perhaps the mods are just trying it out to see what affect it has on the forum, they could quite easily revert back to the old system are come up with another one.

When I go to any board but the Newbie board, I am able to press reply or make a new topic, but in the Newbie board these buttons are not available. I was under the impression I had to make 1 post and lurk 5 hours before I could post, so i'm confused.
