What is the cost of electricity for you?
AsRock H510 Pro BTC +   €196
LC-Power Estrattore Edi1800W  €225
MSI GeForce RTX 3070 € 1190
You also need memory, hard drive, processor and case for the mining farm.

Write down the cost of electricity and calculate your return on investment. Only I advise you to increase the result by 2.5 times, because after the end of Ethereum mining, everything will change a lot.

Thanks for your reply!
I live in Switzerland. The price are in CHF.

I do not have any cost of electricity.

The RTX 3070 would be less than 1000 euro. It is a good price for you ?

What case do you suggest ?
In my country, such a video card costs 1150-1200 euros. I understand that Switzerland has a high level of salaries. Mining will not be unprofitable for you, but the profit will be very small. If you want to learn how to mine, then this is a good buy, later you can increase the number of video cards in the farm up to 6 pcs.

So you are saying that are going to buy a 3070 LHR card for 1000 EUR,that is quite a bad investment for my taste as the maximum hashrate the mining software developers have been able to squeeze out from that card is near the 45 Mhsh but maybe a bit lower,so 3 cards would make you about 135 Mhsh or about 10 USD daily meaning about 9 EUROS.

For a country like Switzerland I know this is nothing as a value but as a starting point, learning path for you may work well.Every part seems compatible from your description.

use 3060 ti instead, cheaper and efficient for eth mining, or try 3080 for best hashrate, depend on your country price
here list base rig hardware :
gigabyte b250 fintech 12 pcie
intel g4400
ram ddr4 8gb
psu antec hcp series
ssd 250gb
open case
pcie riser

Thanks to share the hardware!
Unfortunately the difference between 3060 and 3070 is only 100 CHF. So maybe the 3070 seems better.

Hi at all,

I'm a newbie about the mining. A friend suggest to me this infrastructure to begin:
- 3 RTX 3070 like this:
https://www.google.com/shopping/product/15921710288926478613?lsf=seller:111905342,store:2912699532710557495&prds=oid:5907532642128607067&q=rtx+3070+digitech&hl=it&ei=Ad-YYYzkMPHl7_UPxq6Z6As&lsft=gclid:CjwKCAiA1uKMBhAGEiwAxzvX91Y-P2tFR8JYLDk6FHooNarUtbGFL53Lmf7Ea5VH4ZB4e7uLTPvwuRoCl_8QAvD_BwE
He sell the card at 1.050 CHF: could be a good price?

- a motherboard like this:
https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/asrock-h510-pro-btc-lga-1200-intel-h510-atx-mainboard-16211905?gclid=CjwKCAiA1uKMBhAGEiwAxzvX9-L9DSw9CSL9ZTXPc8n-ZIK3FybBJgAk8mIic9k8CTsr568oNJx3vhoCWQAQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

- an lc power like this:
https://www.digitec.ch/it/s1/product/lc-power-estrattore-edi1800w-alla-rinfusa-1800-w-alimentatori-pc-7948211?gclid=CjwKCAiA1uKMBhAGEiwAxzvX92Vx0NVPREhqUzub1b5Z1cPg1hf5H7bF0cLytjTC2WS_yVva4wZfyRoC1fYQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Can someone told me if this is a correct infrastructure to begin mining at this moment ?
I have seen the LHR graphic card is not a powerful choice for ETH and maybe it is not possibile mining eth next year but I would like mining some other little crypto not bitcoin ot ethereum.

Thanks to anyone who can answer me,

Leonardo
