Don't trust anyone in this forum with trades, always use escrow! Read the satoshi white paper about bitcoin and visit the sub reddit (/r/bitcoin) for some news updates. Enjoy the currency and spend it, don't just hold it!

I am a newbie and want to learn. Looking for right direction from experienced members.

Welcome.
The best start for learning about bitcoin IMO is the Coindesk's newbie guides http://www.coindesk.com/information/ which covers many different aspects.

Bitcoin is a currency. Meaning it's exactly like money. And money is built on trust.

Earn the trust of the people and keep it together. Don't scam or even think about it.
With the trust and reputation you earn, you'll get a wider audience for what you can offer, and eventually
a bigger profit Smiley

Good luck!

First of all you should completely read https://bitcoin.org/ and learn how Bitcoin protocol works. When you have knowledge, install Bitcoin Core to your pc and sign-up one of the BTC trade sites to buy some Bitcoin. Invest only what you can afford and believe in Bitcoin. Don't stop reading and learn new things.
