Hi,

From one Newbie to another. I did the same thing as you.
I have tried different approach to this, One is to try "Awesome Miner" and configure your pool Nicehash is already in there.
The second one is to run the bfgminer in stand alone with this in a cmd(dos command) :
«bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://stratum.slushpool.com:3333 -u Ecu.Ecu1 -p x -o stratum+tcp://stratum.solo.nicehash.com:3334 -u 3GJuszWdPgKtxrhgazLQpG2Ab1b4VcYMKy.Ecu1 -p x -S all»

And yes you can put a lot of pool but after 10 or more its hard to read on the screen because you see only the last few of them.

The important is to read the README.txt the directory that you install the bfgminer.exe it will give you all the option
like the -o is for a pool, -u for the user name, -p the password

Hi all,

I will be completely honest with you all i am new to this. I bought a bit and wondered if i could mine some myself. I did my research and I bought a few USB miners, I know i wont make a profit on these but i bought them to just test things out and see how its done.
the 2 i have bought so far are:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bitmain-Bitcoin-Miner-USB-Antminer-Bitmain-ASIC-Miner/272746449672?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

i got BFGminer as i tried to build CGminer and hit a brick wall. When i try and connect to the pools i can connect to them and get the Pool 0 has detected a new block and such but after a while i get the "pool misbehaving" and then "all pools are dead." I have tried the #xnsnub and #skipcbcheck to stop these things from happening but when i put this in it just closes the miner and i have to start again.

I know with these 2 guys plugged in i am in no way going to get anywhere near having work submitted every minute or anything but it doesn't seem to be sending anything off at all? I then check my workers on myhash and it is not showing up. do i have to put in my bitcoin address and then .worker1 or something to make it appear and ping back or is it that the difficulty is that high and it has not had the opportunity to send anything back that it is just not pinging the nicehash server?

Picture of when i had 1 of the 2 plugged in (if i have done it right)

Is there any way to get around these issues and get it set up and working? i would prefer to use nicehash as my pool but currently i cannot get this to connect with these Erupters and can only get bitminter to acknowledge them.

A further question i wanted to ask is would it be best to load up all the algorithms as pools and have it rotate around to find the best one? i know the GPU miner does this but not sure how the BFG miner works.

I am well aware i wont see a profit off doing things this way. I hasten to add this is a newbie set up and a test to see if I can get it working to look at investing in larger ASIC miners. As you can see from me asking for help i have not done too well and i thought it was best to ask instead of giving up.

If anyone can help please let me know. If you need any more info to help please let me know.
