Wow, you guys pumping this doge is funny.  Sure, people are just signing up like crazy just to mine doge, with all the million of other coins out there.

Right? I don't understand what's going on myself, this seems comical to me.

I'm in a similar boat and look at dogecoin as a mining learning experience. I created a wallet and have 4.7 DOGE.

Address:  DH8tmnUpu9ambk9LEQoAkiasG18zYGU5eA

I downloaded cgminer and set up a pool account at doge.scryptpools.com. I can't get my batch configuration file working, but just by running the application and entering the sever info, user, and password I got to this screen:

Seems like I'm getting a hashrate, but nothing is happening here:

I feel a little stuck because I can't tell if this is working. So to the Bitcoin Forum! Any help is such appreciated.

You need to use a batch file and add --scrypt after cgminer.exe.
Here's an example:

cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://doge.scryptpools.com:3322/ -u yourusername.user -p password

Last night I started mining.
Today I'm browsing for hardware to make a dedicated rig.

I've caught the fever and caught it hard!

I'm mining it since second day. DOGE certainly has a bright future,
it's everywhere around the net, every 2 min "dogecoin" is being tweeted.

Vote DOGE here to send it to Cryptsy - https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/45115
