Man, your main intention is to create drama and that's what you have created in this thread and every other thread that you posted. I think you're creating such threads so that you can grab some merits from generous members who really like to support newbies, but dude it's always better to create good and helpful threads rather than creating something that's highly controversial and is baseless.

We don't know that if Trust wallet pays users to promote their service or not and if they choose to do that then then they won't be choosing newbie rank users for promotion of their wallet. The Trust wallet isn't an open-source software and that's why most of the lovers of open-source software won't promote it even if Trust wallet offers them good income in return. However, the ones who don't really have any issues with closed-source software will most likely promote it if they get good offers from Trust wallet team.

I must tell you that no company or service is naive enough to pay someone 0.01BTC per thread and if it was that simple then almost every reputed member of this forum would be a millionaire by now. It's always better to come up with something that makes sense, and 0.01BTC doesn't makes sense for a single thread.

The high paying signature campaigns on this forum are offering only $6 per post and those campaigns are only accepting the applicant who have been active on the forum for a very long time and those members have contributed a lot to the forum. They don't really pay newbie rank users and even they don't accept good posters in their campaigns because they only want the exceptional posters and they pay them at least $6 per constructed post.

Though as it has been repeatedly said that nit all newbies are newbies indeed in cryptocurrency, some of them are just coming in new to the forum after which they just make the discovery of this forum, giving an information is not tied to any particular rank as long as it's going to carry a serious weight of taughts through its contents, trust wallet had on countless occassions been discussed already but we need to still understand that there are latest updates needed to be passed across on wallet securities like this.

How much Trust wallet pay for this promoting ?
Such stories can be good income for forum members, if Trust wallet or any other wallet/services pay let's say 0.01BTC ( ~$288 ) and more per thread and forum admin agree paid fake reality threads.

You have been going around creating useless topics, your last topic in meta was also about how forum members can exploit signature campaigns using AI generated posts to complete signature post quota. Now you’ve come up with another suggestion on how lucrative fake reviews would be for forum members. It shows your impression of the forum. I honestly don’t know how you managed to get 28merits. It seems merit isn’t that to get afterall if someone like you can get that much merits.

Seems the thread is deleted but going by your post OP it sounds funny that trust wallet could want to do such here. Already trust wallet already gained popularity and awareness in the Crypto community Why getting involved in such but on the other hand it might just be a fake propaganda to smear the image of trust wallet here so as to discourage people from using it anymore for wanting to taint the image of Exodus wallet. However,  I have read through and discovered based on the response of other members, it seems like scammers are at work because I believe trust wallet would never engage in such meaningless post if not scammers at work.

Your keys, your responsibility
Ask their team for details.
Btw, what are the indications that make you think so? As far as I can judge there is nothing that would trigger this post to be deleted (at least before other identical stories appear).

It is not against the rules. Where you see the rules, that members can not post paid fake reality threads ?
That's it, you can't do anything, you made this thread too early.

This is nothing more than a phishing post.
If you pay attention a little more, there is a fake link to a Telegram support group called "OfficiaITrustWallet" and it's a pure attempt to mislead someone. It's a good thing that this TG channel is currently non-existent, so everything this user tried was useless.

btw. The official Trustwallet channel on Telegram is https://t.me/trustwallet
The long post really a hint that a user might probably use an AI to create such post. And quite alarming of the tg channel mentioned. I have reported the thread already, hoping it will be taken down.

I think examplens makes a fair point here.  I also do not really see that thread as just a blatant promotion for TrustWallet. Maybe the person who started the thread had some other motive that wasnt totally obvious.  I cant say for sure either way, but its possible.

Probably nothing. You really think that Binance (Trust owner) would pay some shitty shiller to come on bitcointalk, use Newbie account and write that wall of text? They have too much money to promote it that way.

Continuous Improvement: Trust Wallet doesn't sit still. They're always making it better with each update. I like that attitude. And they listen to users – that's a big plus. The online community around Trust Wallet, especially the Telegram support group at https://t.me/OfficialTrustWallet, has been a real lifesaver. When I had questions or hit a bump in the road, there were folks there ready to help. It made me feel like I wasn't on my own, and I really appreciate that

copyleaks.com says that the text was written with the help of an AI content generator

I'm not sure which of the AI detectors is the most relevant, I slipped a part of the text through gptzero.me where it confirms the participation of the AI generator in making this post.

No one in their right min will move $400k for $288 and risk their crypto asset to a shit wallet.

Haha, you, my friend, put this topic in the wrong section. I don't think it belonged to the meta section; maybe in Helps or Beginners. Well, let's leave it for the moderators.
It's a perfect thread for Bitcoin Discussion board 😉

I don't know if there is really a payment for such a post in the first place, but if there is, it is not worth that much, around 0.01 BTC. I mean, the OP of that post really put some effort into creating a good image of the Tust wallet, but we all know with the information that Trust wallet is close source and cannot be aduited by the developers, so many will not prefer it for holding purposes even though it is a non-custodial wallet.

Oh c'mon, Joeyp! Is this the pinnacle of your creativity? you're really setting the bar low here, aren't you?

We've seen your wild and wacky theories before – at least they were entertaining. This, my friend, is neither interesting nor amusing. Step it up!
Haha, you should ask Joeyp, "Why so serious?", I also read that thread just today. Due to the topic of Joeyp, the story was really interesting and full of details. While reading that, I started to think that OP must be some type of storyteller, but when he started to explain the features of Trust Wallet, I also became skeptical that OP was promoting TrustWallet.

But why does he have to? I mean, there is no need for it. Trust Wallet is already so famous and used by a lot of people in the crypto market, but still, old competitors need some intentions too. But these intentions can be gotten from bad image too, like last time many people reported a bug in which the assets are shown in the explorer but are not visible in the wallet.

Joeyp - do you think it's against the rules - if so, try reporting the thread to moderator and see what happens next?

I don't know if the user was paid or just telling something from his experience - but if you think he's make shilling, then find the report to moderator feature at the bottom right of this thread. Trust Wallet is one that crypto users already know with over 10M download - so I don't know why they chose a newbie to promote them on the forum - [really not sure that's true].

🖤😏
Late at night before going to bed, anyone can come up with such stories, so I don't think they need to pay for shills, they can do it themselves.
Another thing is, scams are not moderated to avoid biased decisions. What can we do? They are just asking for your private keys to all your coins, just like any other centralized exchanges out there, you can only tag them shills and get on with it.  Newbie or legendary, a shill is a shill, if you don't believe me go search for howey coin.🤣

Don't joke with my Daughter
We don't know the engagement of that user with trustwallet and even if he promotes such a thing since is not scam associated then there's nothing wrong with him except there is a malicious link that is included somewhere which I think there's no one. Trust wallet can only pay if there is an agreement between both to know why he needs to promote them, let's take for example as many projects are being promoted here there are some agreement between both managers and the project owners so therefore, there could be an agreement between both if is promoting trustwallet, however a user can decide to promote a wallet he loves using without even gotten paid for it.

Newbie with first post - thread - Super Impressed with TrustWallet. (ex-Exodus wallet user) Almost lost $400,000 advertise Trust wallet in the forum.
This is really nice and long promoting story, how newbie with $400 000 in the Exodus wallet, move assets to Trust wallet, because of hacking attempt. The story of course, have many positives sides of Trust wallet, which is closed source wallet.

And, as you said, the amount would be around 0.01 BTC. I mean, if they really are paying that much to shill their services, then that's a lot of money, and I would love to join that (haha) to earn in BTC (just kidding). Well, I read the topic you mentioned above completely.

And there was no proof from the OP that he really transferred that much money into a trust wallet. He should proof it by showing us the details of the wallet, or at least share the screenshot if he was afraid or cared so much about privacy and anonymity. Overall, it really looked like he was trying to sell us the biscuits from TW, but I don't think he has to. I also use TW, but of course not for holding purposes.

OP, you're asking a question that nobody here is likely going to be able to answer.  I think you know this, and if you don't....well, you really should.  Even if that member was being paid to promote the Trust wallet (which we don't know for sure), so you think anyone other than that member himself would know?  What kind of discussion are you aiming for here?

With the crap threads I've seen you start, I had to check who the hell gave you merits and found I wasn't the first one to question it:

eXch.cc, could you please explain why you felt that this baseless rant deserves so much merit?
Maybe because they felt OP has a good point and admin himself admitted about the danger posed by using Cloudflare as other members have already quoted, so I perfectly understand why they sent OP that much merit. I have seen useless posts receive high amounts of unnecessary merits.

There is no need to crucify the "meriter"  Grin
Not going to go too far off-topic, but crucifying inappropriate merit-giving is absolutely appropriate.  Or at least questioning it.

I don't see that as a paid advertisement; trust wallets can't go that low for marketing. There are two possibilities to what I see in such a case, which are:

1. If the story is real, either the OP doesn't know about the security implications of using a trust wallet or the OP might not know the difference between a closed-source and an open-source wallet.

2. Maybe the OP created such a thread to see if it could make some merit out of it, thinking he has taken the right step by using what he believes is a self-custodial wallet and calling Atom wallet evil based on their recent hack incident.
