You're maybe not a little kid, but you're still a newbie! 
"Newbie" is a very established term for people new to a technology or an online community. It dates back to the early eighties. So it's not something to take offense in.

Being called a "newbie" ist just the noun of "being new", i don't care about that status.

I don't mind the term Newbie, let's face it your only going to 'live' with it for 4 online hours. It's not as if it's a big deal.

Yes, I agree I never liked this kind of system. Just imagine 13 yo kid (a Hero Member) who calls 50 yo serious man (Newbie) with names like "kid", "greenhorn"... LoLNot so unusual in IT

It's not an age-based descriptor. A 13-year-old kid may well know more than a 50-year-old man about Bitcoin, if he's been using it for longer or reading about it.
