QUESTION TWO:
What would have been the disadvantage(s) of Bitcoin if it was centralised?
1) The disadvantage would have been based on manipulation all the cryptocurrencies
2) And Bitcoin will lack security operating system which everyone would have easily penetrate to another person bitcoin store.
3) Government would have hijacked cryptocurrency entirely and fake bitcoin would have introduce since, like fake fiat, manufactured or printed by the road side in the name of original.
4) finally every country would have, have their own cryptocurrency through their Central Bank and been regulate or change like currency of a country.

I can see you will be full member soon, nice one.

1. You must have zero merit to participate
Don't you think this can encourage spammers, try to add to the rules to make it discourage spammers to start opening new accounts. Rule like anyone that just open new account should not apply. Also I think newbies should be counted as newbies irrespective of their amounts of merit earned, but it is your merit, you have your own opinion, just an advice.

Correct the second 4 to 6.

Sure, but spammers might get that one merit and not much more besides that, so if some slip through the cracks I don't see any harm in it. I think most of us can spot spammers from a mile away and make it hard for them to rank up so that should be enough of efort.

There might be few newbies who are relatively new and had not earn merit till now. They may benefit from this offer. However, we don't need to worry because OP is clever enough to check the post history before granting any merit. Brand New accounts or only bounty hunters will not get anything.

Not everyone can become a merit source. Its good initiative if he has started this thread to give Newbies an opportunity to become Jr. Member.
Of course, if his smerits will finish, he will stop this service, but lets not discourage him.  Smiley
Yes your right not everyone but in his/her case I assure that if he/she has a chance to became a merit source because all he/she wanted to help.

I think this  Thread posted by Ratimov is very suitable for Newbies do not Have any Merits

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5350002

But thank you for making This Thread and sharing your Merits to newbies  even though you are not a Merit source .

Thank you for sharing, I wanted to do something different by giving a newbie(with zero merit) just only 1 and first merit. They will earn it by answering a question.
However, if I discover that the thread is not needed, I will lock it but before then, one or two newbies with zero merit should benefit from this thread.

I suggest that if you want to help/give Merits to every newbies then you should apply for Merit source. Cause this case if you make a Thread like This expect that only  few newbies get Merit because there's a sudden you will ran out of Merits. Since you are not merit source you cannot receive merits every moths.

And before teaching someone, you should first understand everything yourself, dear.  Grin Grin Grin
But this thread was not opened for the purpose of teaching. It was actually opened to show appreciation to especially newbies. And also to bring their consent to important or elementary things as it concerns the forum by a way of questions and interaction.  I am perplexed how the context is entirely misconstrued by you.
I think your concern here should be about the misuse of Merits which I am actively conscious of. But am surprised you are bringing up insubstantial matters.

Assuming you read and understood the number one question, you would have appreciated the new idea behind the question, different from what you have been reading.

I also suggested that you open your eyes wider and see what I wrote to you. This does not apply to your plagiarism problem, how you actively advocate NOT to commit it. And I drew your attention to the fact that you should learn how to correctly quote sentences. And for this, it is worth reading guides from beginners like you. At least sometimes

QUESTION ONE:
What advantage(s) is the strictness on plagiarism to the forum users?

I am very surprised, are these two issues really worth setting up a thread? There are too many articles on the forum that are strictly forbidden to plagiarize. Do I still need to let everyone talk about it one by one here?

QUESTION TWO:
What would have been the disadvantage(s) of Bitcoin if it was centralised?

Bitcoin is centralized, this problem does not exist at all, why should you embarrass yourself and others.

There is no other meaning, I just want to see more fresh and content posts on the homepage of the section.

I thought that the first question was so cheap, I am surprised that both the first and second question, you did not understand but in your quest to reply, you ended up being the one embarrassing yourself.

QUESTION ONE:
What advantage(s) is the strictness on plagiarism to the forum users?

The function of the forum is to allow users to exchange their ideas. Since it is not your own thoughts, there is no need to turn other people's thoughts into your own. Just let us express our opinions and thoughts, or if you have any questions, you can ask the users of the forum. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited to prevent the flooding of same posts. Without fresh ideas, copyists are likely to be unconfident in themselves, or their purpose is not simple.
The forum is full of posts and replies with no quality, which will affect the user experience and make the forum no longer sticky, which will lead to the loss of users.
Please read again, you did not understand the question you answered.

Assuming you read and understood the number one question, you would have appreciated the new idea behind the question, different from what you have been reading.
Even the people that are attempting to answer the question are getting it wrong, yet we see it as irrelevant.

Brother, although it is your freedom to use merit, it is obviously better to send merit to higher-quality posts.

There are already a lot of themes of this kind of merit in the beginner section, and I am very grateful to them.
[Merit] Help newbies and those who have a little left to the next rank
[Merit] Hey Bitcoiners! Can You Send Encrypted Messages?

But to be honest, it may be too early for you to do this. Maybe it would be better to do this thing after a year's time to become a source of merit.

Dear, you have a lot of topics on how to avoid plagiarism. I counted 4 topics. And I also saw the beginner's guides, I don't remember blah blah something, how to get merit, and so on.
May I ask one question? Today there are many guides from the beginners themselves, for example, these are:

Tell me, do you read threads from the newbies? Or are you just creating guides?

I thought about this, don't you think that it would be easy to stop spammers that opened new account for now, but on the long run, it would be difficult to detect.

Also I think newbies should be counted as newbies irrespective of their amounts of merit earned, but it is your merit, you have your own opinion, just an advice.
I will try and reconsider this on the long run.

I opened this thread to help newbies earn their first merit. Most times, earning the first merit is difficult for newbies.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT.
1. You must have zero merit to participate
2. Your activity should not be more than 100, else you might be considered a bounty hunter.
3. You must answer either or both questions in each round.
4. The quality if your answer(s) will earn you the merit.
5. How you quote the particular question you are answering (decency of post) is an added advantage.
6. I will lock this thread whenever I run out of smerit, then reopen when I accumulate. Unless merit sources will help and sponsor and/or sustain this project.

Newbies, feel free and share knowledge.
