I agree.. it would be nice if there was a splash page or memo that came up for us newbs, but this might not be very easy considering the platform of the forum..

All in all it is probably a good thing that people have to put some time in before posting all over..

Hello all,

I've registered a few days ago and got stuck because I couldn't see a reply button anywhere. After some research I found out that the forum has restrictions for newbies. I'm not against it, I think it makes total sense to have such restrictions but I think new users should be warned by the welcoming email they get or at least by a PM when first log in.

Would it be possible to change this?
