Commonly, newbies get new information about cryptocurrency from social media (mostly Twitter and telegram groups) and alsoYouTube channel.
However, as newbies, most of them don't know about SCAM and they don't know how to differentiate the scams.
Moreover, there are so many channels with lots of subscribers, followers, and also members that are joining the channel, although they are fake members, newbies sometimes don't know about it.
We cannot stop the scams and newbies that are being scammed because we don't know who they are and where they are coming from and getting scams.
However, we can try to spread out about this, trying to help newbies and making them aware of scammers. Whether they will trust us or not or whether they are more interested in profits that commonly the scammers offer, it becomes their turn.

Some of the crypto influencers on youtube only provide boasting explanations aimed at promoting their own coins without any explanation about technical and fundamental analysis. and youtube that streams about the BTC giveaway is also very dangerous, even the comments column is turned off and some positive comments made are posted in the video as proof.

Many cases of youtube streaming like this happen, even youtube which has millions of subscribers they can hack and use as a promotional tool for fraud by scammers.

Must do research and not be tempted by bonuses and giveaway that will be given. No project provides an easy way to double your money, there will always be work or work done.

The title alerts newbies, but it affects anyone in reality and at any time if one is careless it can enter the list of fools, you have to manage very good the click as in the same way as you drive with your car or as you walk around the life common sense.

Just add the recent fact of a German who sent 10 BTC in a Giveaway (Twitter). So it is a matter of always being vigilant regardless of the size of your portfolio or the size of your knowledge.

Yes this also some actually clone the account of a bright and shinning known influencers then imitate the influence, contact to telegram or Gmail include to finish off the scam, truly I don't think anyone should fall for one or two fake proof the scammer gave them, and sticking their money/bitcoin/crypto-currency
Many humans are greedy and deemed foolish, no matter what happen, no one should trust anyone that has not been known or seen before. I become to think and surprised about how someone will believe in a trader unknown and send him funds to trade for him. Be it any online point of meeting, such people should not be trusted. This is happening everywhere online, even on social media platforms where scammers deploying different tactics to scam people, but it is people that will just have to know 1% profit daily seemed like scam not to talk of 5% or high promising profit that will only result to scam.

Not only the danger in the comment section on the video but also the video itself, there is still a lot of video scam that we can find on youtube and mostly beginners would be the victim of those videos because they don't have good knowledge yet and they can just easily entertain and believe to those videos that offer a good thing or giveaways.

I do not really rely on youtube because not all information provided are true and others are just making advantage to scam other people through their fraud activities.

However, youtube or even google has take a huge part for us to learn more and develop.  As what has OP intend to understand that the best way to learn to watch videos, tutorials and other related media.

I am suggesting to be not contented with one media to watch. It would be better also to watch other videos related to the queries in that way it would be easy to understand how things will work based on the content and how the authors of the content explain in the video.

As the say that two heads is better than one so I guess watching 2 videos or more satisfy your cravings to learn a certain aspect or technicalities of cryptocurrency.

Not just in Youtube live ads, but also in the comments section. As a Youtuber myself, I also see comments from time to time on my videos from scammers who are spamming their fake testimonials like they need to call this guy on Whatsapp or Telegram asap to get started or so. Even that I have deleted these comments, they won’t stop. They just simply go to any random video and do this all over again.

These scammers have learned that their comments will be filtered out if there are links or hashtags involved, so they are just commenting it without links telling them to call this number or so. This is the reality now, we can’t stop them. The only ones who can adjust are just us, and we can let newbies and beginners becoming aware of these scam tactics before they even falling for it.

Scammers are way ahead than what we think, they started to create the fake clone sites to get the login credentials and fake wallets to steal funds rom people, these video concepts are very old but still people are falling for it quite annoying because its easier to know that those kind of doubling offers are completely fake but still people tends to send money and waiting forever for their double rewards.
Well, they might think they were in advance but with the same scam tactics repeated everywhere, I think most newbies have a slight understanding about it although they just need enough time to do their own research and understand the situation. But of course, if the person is illiterate in computer and techy stuff they might be the first person to get scammed first.

It's always do your own research is the best way to avoid an easy money offer that you think it's kind of suspicious when any normal person wouldn't do with you. Just a little use of common sense and guts will tell you exactly what is happening.
I can say that more than 90% people who got scammer are well literate but when the scammer induce the greed they lose their mind and simply go for it without any second opinion so they are well educated doesn't mean they are knowledgeable it is something can be dealt with the experience.

This is a brief but very clear post on a potential scam, as a -Newbie- your curiousity, need of help/assistance should have it's limit, I have had friends leaving crypto-currency the barely started because of they got scammed, so being straight with you here is a potential scam

Newbies in crypto-currency can take their research to youTube, search out vidoes, YouTube itself is a visual and audio form of research but the dangers here are for example, after a crypto-currency video on YouTube, a particular comment from a scammer, can be commented the comment can be of any format, most times relating to trading or investment, then they can be many replies under that thread and many times advertising a particular fake trader, this replies under the particular comment can be as much as possible but all maybe be from one person with different Gmail account or their partners. What ever you do beware of reaching such fake traders and again help others by commenting scam after seeing such potential scam, verify every trader you will been under there service.

They should be careful on youtube videos since there are several hypes posted just to give a good impression to the they promote that's why I suggest them to go on certain particular youtuber that educate and not promoting any site. But also a good research to know more things s very much needed so that they can save there money out from those scammers.

We are lucky that we have a platform like this which newbie can ask about how legitimate the site and also they can hear a feedback from community members.

What ever you do beware of reaching such fake traders and again help others by commenting scam after seeing such potential scam, verify every trader you will been under there service.

Not only YouTube that we noticed such hype of a trader which can be equated or measured as a "trade wizard" that sweeps all the profit but even at the telegram. I have had many telegram messages about some "best profit making people" and asking to chat them up or follow a link. Hahaha... And what do I do ? I just refuse the temptation of following up. When things look very easy, is better you doubt and suspect it because nothing comes that easy. I don't know of any rich man constantly throwing money around when you don't work to earn it.

One reason that we fall for scam is greed. If a newbie is greedy, he/she may fall easily when those easy profit or benefit are dangled around them.

The best advice is to be generally careful on all social media video Post's and comments, this mostly happen on Facebook where a project page will post and update and a scammer created Facebook account in the original project name telling people they are doing give away sometimes they say if you deposit 0.5 bitcoin you will be given 1 bitcoin in return this is scam.

The truth remains that, what comes free especially when the testimonials about them are on point will always be tempting.
So, to a money hungry beginner, if its free there isn't any harm in trying but then, can a thing still be free in this life?
Thats the question I ask myself. Especially to those for whom you don't share a close relationship with.
Let's be cautious not to rush into anything and endanger ourselves by giving out private details.

With the increase in the price of bitcoin, a lot of scammers are looking for ways to exploit newbies of the little they already own. I remember when I started doing airdrops, I came across an airdrop that requested users to input their private key instead of public address. I am sure someone would have fallen for this scam.

There is nothing free in this world, if it is free then you are the product.

Of course there are exceptions but exceptions do confirm the rule, right? For instance I myself know guys who custom rebuild cars on Youtube and then give them out to channel subscribers in a draw. But then they are real people with real known location etc, not just somebody who anonymously posts "attractive offer" stuff on the Internet.

Scammers are every where not just on YouTube. As a newbie you should not fall for free or giveaway stuff. There is nothing free in this world, if it is free then you are the product. All social media have scammers their way of contacting you will be through DM. Always block those DMs from unknown. Be careful before investing into any project and always DYOR.

For me it's fine to look after those possible learnings that they can  get from watching or reading bunch of stuffs. If they can, they can participate more and watch how things works so does it will become one of their experience and lesson. Personally, I've done a lot of stupid and greediness when I was just starting. But everything comes with time and experience. But ultimately, as much as possible learn to identify what's best or not, where to invest and where to not be involved.

YouTube, Instagram and telegram has been the forefront of it and those frequently using these platforms for there research are at the front line and as such, should exhibit extreme caution on the informations they download and that which they give out. Even comments and this time, not just there's but yours as well is as risky as giving off your privacy details.
How is your comment dangerous?
Your comments opens a door way to conversation and by that, you give out your area of interest and the scammer knows where to come in from. Presenting you everything on a good plata and make it look too easy.
Always take extra caution when this sort of replies or offers come off a conversation with someone you meet over the web.

They should also be careful on some videos on YouTube. There are too many scams out there that are even doing a live stream and it's surprising that they have a lot of viewers which makes a newbie intended to believe that whatever is written on that live stream about sending and receiving afterwards is real. But it's all a scam and fake promo and giveaway that have been victimized a lot of newbies. Be choosy in which videos they have to watch because they might fall to a scam video too.
