It's funny how they have time to do things that are that are unimportant while leaving SegWit support even though they promised to deliver it.

When I also got the notification of their movement accompanied by loads of grammar in form of articles to support their position, I was wondering what effect would that mean exactly. Would it increase the number of people on their platform of make their platform safer? I personally felt its the chasing of shadows to be doing restructure based on the surface just like a company changing its logo with really changing his concept or a brand changing his bottle and not the content. It amounts to waste of time and resources.

Yes they have provided a support over the years and still doing so because before I know about any other web wallet, it has been blockchain.info which I am sure people will agree with me on but beyond that they need to start upgrading to the technical level of making bitcoin better and safer. The SegWit is one, the other is the lightning network which I have seen any statement of support from them.

I bookmarked my wallet address and when I type it, it automatically converts from info to com.
Strangely, I did not receive a message on my email and also some of my friends did not receive that message?
Also, they "blockchain.info team" talked about receiving updates that would be via Twitter, Facebook and not email. Are you sure of the email address?
Check back here and on our Twitter and Facebook pages often to stay in the know. And a special shout out to all of those loyal BCi followers that have helped us get here today!

That's weird. The email was from <[email protected]> though. If I'm not wrong, as long as the email comes from @blockchain.com, it would be legitimate right?
For the record, I have no memory of subscribing to their newsletter but I'm not entirely sure.

I checked the email again to verify if the links are all authentic and they all are.

Uhh basically they linked their announcement = https://blog.blockchain.com/2018/06/19/blockchain-infos-moving-domains/
Log into Your Wallet = https://login.blockchain.com/#/login
Twitter = https://twitter.com/blockchain
Facebook = https://www.facebook.com/blockchain/
Download it on App Store = https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/blockchain-bitcoin-wallet/id493253309
Get it on google play = https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=piuk.blockchain.android

I get this message to my public e-mail address, since it is not connected to my blockchain.info wallet in any way, they(hackers) get it from my site probably. I have wallet there, but with private e-mail address, it is always smart move to use one e-mail account for each service and never publicly disclose that e-mail. I also did not get any info on my private e-mail regarding domain change, so it is normal that you and your friends did not get nothing.

I get info about this in one of my e-mails, but that e-mail was never connected with blockchain.info so by just look at content of e-mail and sender address it is obvious that this is an attempt of phishing. I get something similar few months ago when blockchain.info add BitcoinCash, means every time when it comes to some change on that site someone trying to deceive users. Just as google says, be careful and do not click on this link.

Where is my ring of blades...
I somewhat liked the domain since it was mostly used as a block explorer for years so the name was very appropriate in my opinion: blockchain [dot] info(rmantion).

It's funny how they have time to do things that are that are unimportant while leaving SegWit support even though they promised to deliver it.

yeah, it is not just SegWit, there are a lot of things lacking and buggy still on their platform. for instance for years they list "OP_Return" outputs as "unable to decode" with big scary red text! and that is the simplest thing to code and fix. it is just a hex_to_string conversion!!!

dogs are cute.
It will be funny if they have time to implement SegWit but can't solve the most basic fees structuring/private keys/ user-interface errors. I know SegWit holds the value but there are other things which should be prioritised.
This. They should make changes in their wallets first. Its been years now that people have been complaining about it. People won't care about segwit when most of them don't know what it is.
- The site still looks the same to me? I wish the had an offline version which would be open-sourced including features for signing transactions etc.
I think they tweaked the colors a little(?). I could be totally wrong, as I said, I don't like blockchain.info blockchain.com.

The site looks better than the previous one, there aren't much changes but it is alright. I still am not going to use it, I want to see if their bugs still exist or not. I have always wanted to use blockchain, but stayed away from it because of the major concerns.

Potato chips used to give perfect update but I do not think it is needed to be here on this section. These kind of press releases should be press release section from here mate. I do not know this actually truth news from the blockchain team.
However by checking the Luxumberg secured we can take that to use the wallet.

First, This is a board for web wallets and my post is about it, It fits here imo.
Second, An email from them doesn't count as an article; hence, couldn't fit on press board
Third, If you're talking about the RBS blog post, it doesn't count as it's not about domain moving. I mentioned it to emphasize my "assumption" of the big change blockchain.info might be starting

You can always verify if it's true or not by accesing their .info site

I just received their mail so I immediately accessed their .info site and there I was redirected to ---->> https://www.blockchain.com
The look and feel is still similar from the old one and I think that's good aye.

We're excited to officially unveil a new and unified Blockchain!

Earlier this month we announced that we would be consolidating blockchain.info into blockchain.com to create a seamless experience for our users.

Some of you remember way back in August 2011 when blockchain.info was created with the simple idea to make bitcoin transactions and its ecosystem more accessible. Seven years later, we're now the most trusted company in the industry, thanks to all of you.

With your help, we've done a lot over the years but still have a long way to go in building the future of finance. We know your needs are ever-changing, and we want to be prepared to offer you the end-to-end experience you've been waiting for. That starts today.

In addition to creating a single home for all of our existing products, we've been working hard at perfecting some new ones. In the coming months we'll be bringing you new and exciting products and features you've been hoping for, so keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook pages.

In the meantime, you'll now find all of your .info favorites, including your wallet, on blockchain.com, which (we're excited to say) has a fresh new look! Find the new site for logging into your wallet below and bookmark it because this one's here to stay.

Sounds like this entire domain moving is only a start of something although I don't know what it is. Recently they launched this Blockchain Principal Strategies.
