I registered an account in my name on September 28, 2017. transferred funds to the wallet. saved the password and recovery key. I recently wanted to transfer my funds to the exchange and found that I could not log into my account! the support team wrote to me that the password was changed and the key was re-encrypted in 2019. I didn't! I had two-factor google authentication! I have all the documents proving my identity! I have my phone and my mail! I have my authentication key! The support service does not respond to 10 emails! This is a very bad and unreliable service! pass by! And if you want to donate your money to scammers - you are welcome!

That is already alarming. I think the problem is in Gatehub. I already read some articles like this before in facebook issue that they are selling the users information. I think there are simillar problem. So be carefull in choosing and trusting digital wallet because this is the most important thing here in crypto world.

@Furryball. DEX are good for small buyers and sellers, however, for big traders, no. The prices they get are very bad compared to centralized exchanges.

This after the June hack.

Another reminder that no system is 100% safe. The risks of losing your funds by not having 100% control of your keys is really high.

Not your keys, not your funds.

This is a warning for XRP holders. You should stop using Gatehub. They were already hacked months before with almost $10 million stolen. The people behind this are clearly very incompetent.

However, the skeptical me would think that there was more that occured behind this hack hehehe.

Password data and other personal information belonging to as many as 2.2 million users of two websites—one a cryptocurrency wallet service and the other a gaming bot provider—have been posted online, according to Troy Hunt, the security researcher behind the Have I Been Pwned breach notification service.

One haul includes personal information for as many as 1.4 million accounts from the GateHub cryptocurrency wallet service. The other contains data for about 800,000 accounts on RuneScape bot provider EpicBot. The databases include registered email addresses and passwords that were cryptographically hashed with bcrypt, a function that's among the hardest to crack.

The person posting the 3.72GB Gatehub database said it also includes two-factor authentication keys, mnemonic phrases, and wallet hashes, although GateHub officials said an investigation suggested wallet hashes were not accessed.
