Are they big in their country?

Greyp is a sister company of Rimac Automobili. Rimac Automobili is known for its ultra-exclusive electric hypercars such as the world's fastest-accelerating all-electric production supercar, Rimac Nevera. Rimac holds a 55 percent share in the Bugatti-Rimac joint venture while Porsche owns the remainder.

Thanks, that's sure a lot of information about that company so that makes them big and with this adoption, they're going to contribute and add to the adoption a little by little. It may not that as fast as immediate.

But at least, they've got something to offer.

Yes this is another good news which other can look up to since this bitcoin adoption is really a good innovation to their company and I'm sure they will get a good exposure towards this industry since imagine how big the scope of this industry and if they can apply it to their business then its a great + for them and also a win for bitcoin adopter since this could bring another good foundation to bitcoin itself.

Although the OP did not include a link informing news of electric bicycle manufacturers (Greyp Bikes) supporting or accepting bicycle purchases using BTC, ETH and some other coin
There's a link and quote that has posted above our posts.

Although the OP did not include a link informing news of electric bicycle manufacturers (Greyp Bikes) supporting or accepting bicycle purchases using BTC, ETH and some other coin, but this is news for cryptocurrency because there are companies that accept cryptocurrency as a means of transacting their products, and previously very many companies have accepted cryptocurrency as a means of payment. I think this news affects local people only, or certain areas in which the company operates, Globally, it doesn't really matter. because without the support of Greyp Bikes cryptocurrency will always have a special place in people heart.

Are they big in their country? let's say that they are but even if they're a big company, that's not enough to make the price goes up for the cryptocurrencies that they've purchased.

But let's look at the brightest side of these adoptions, there are becoming many of these companies that are starting to purchase their crypto assets and at the same time accepts crypto for payments, very good news.

Greyp Bikes, an electric bicycle manufacturer, supports purchases in mainstream currencies such as BTC and ETH
On September 11, according to otal Croatia News, electric bicycle manufacturer Greyp Bikes and Croatian cryptocurrency payment processor PayCek reached a cooperation. All products of Greyp Bikes can now be directly purchased through the following 9 cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, BCH , XLM, XRP, DAI, EOS, USDT, USDC.

Well there are some instance that it can contribute to the growth of bitcoin but that's temporary growth only since people will forget about those news since its actually not a big news to be heard but for his company for sure there's a benefits since he will get a free advertisement since many people will talk about those news released by him. For sure crypto will contribute a growth to his company since many will be curious to try paying crypto on his company.

In as much as I'm optimistic and a pro-Bitcoin enthusiast, I don't see how that news will add anything new to Bitcoin, giving that the site/company – Greyp Bikes, the OP referred to isn't even a popular one. I never heard of such site until this thread happened. Again, like someone said here the company had always been in favour of Bitcoin and not that this is its first support. Bitcoin normally gets its boosts when top companies and business interests get involved in Bitcoin purchase and adoption, not a mushroom concern mentioned here. While I ain't trying to write off Greyp Bikes, I'm simply saying the news revolving round it may be infinitesimal to Bitcoin getting a spike in price.

Haven't heard of Greyp bikes before though but for me as a cyclist, it is nice knowing that there are manufacturers who supports crypto. In my country, some bike shops accepts payments in SLP and not BTC this is due to the fact that Axie infonity in my country is very popular. This bikeshop is one of biggest supplier in ny country so its bullish. Nonetheless, I am looking forward to Pinarello Bikes, S-Works, Shimano and other cycling manufacturer to adopt as well. Cycling community is big and good market as well.
The analysis is very good. We think that cryptocurrency can be accepted by more industries. We are also very happy. At least it is developing in a good direction.

It could be valuable if Greyp Bikes accepts bitcoin payments directly using any open source payment processor or builds its own.
All that happens is that they are requesting a third party to conduct Bitcoin transactions and transfer the profits to them bank account.
This news will not make a difference and such companies do not believe in technology and will delete bitcoin as a payment option when profits are not realized.

It may be suitable for those who want to spend bitcoin/alts without converting it to dollars and paying with it traditionally.

OP please share link so we can verify this news
~

I shared the links you requested right above your post. Is something wrong with them?  Wink

While this is by itself not big news, and as I said before, I am not sure why OP chose to post it here, but I appreciate the approach Rimac Automobili (a sister company of Greyp) takes towards cryptocurrencies.

So far I still haven't found any news relevant enough for this. So if only to respond that there is an electric bicycle company that accepts payments using Bitcoin, maybe the owner is a cryotocurrency fan personally. With the implementation of crypto payments especially Bitcoin at this time we do not find any movement that has a significant impact on the price.

They just integrated crypto payments into their web store, so essentially this is not a big deal.
But, apparently, they have much greater plans with crypto integrations.

"According to tech.eu, Greyp seeks to have automatic payments that will start as machine-to-machine transactions, such as renewable charging services, rentals, and tolls. Notably, cryptocurrency options will be incorporated. "

Quote from: Kresimir Hlede, Greyp COO
“We envision a network where every vehicle has a digital ‘wallet’ enabling autonomous machines to receive and create payments, both to humans and other machines.”

I came across these interesting pieces of news that might be helpful to some:

One acceptance over another is a small triumph, but still something worth noting. Though honestly I don't think this is enough reason for us to see any positive changes in the market pretty soon. While true that Greyp Bikes are one of those technologically-advanced electric bicycle manufacturers (and they also have a solid following, too) around, their name is not that big of a deal for most people to cause a fuzz.

Imagine if major bike manufacturers from Tour de France (Bianchi, Cannondale, Pinarello, etc.) and other major bike races start accepting bitcoin, now that's something IMO.

can you provide a news link that confirms from your thread?

It's at least easy, you just need to visit the official website of the manufacturer and there is a notice posted by the OP.

If not a lot of people knows about the company then it's most likely that only those that knows it or the local area that the company is located...

It's not just a locally represented company, there are outlets all over Europe, in Mexico, and in South Africa - and it's the most technologically advanced electric bikes that can be bought.
