Many reputable sites are posting news that NewsCrypto will join forces with Polygon to improve interoperability and connect the Polygon blockchain to Stellar by creating Wrapped XLM tokens that can be used in the DeFi Polygon ecosystem.
NewsCrypto has received a grant from Polygon to develop a low-fee bridge that will connect the Polygon and Stellar ecosystems. Previously, the main activity of NewsCrypto was a platform for educating newbies in the crypto industry. It is my understanding that the NewsCrypto team has the necessary experience to create an interoperable platform with Stellar connecting XLM ecosystem with the DeFi capabilities on Polygon, as they have already been developing platforms and built on XLM.
In connection with this news, the question arises of how this can affect the position of these players in the market. Polygon and stellar are already in the top alts, so, can NWC rise thanks to such collaboration? Is it worth considering this project for investment?
