I haven't heard about this NEXO coin but I think this could be another giant in the market which is now traded at nearly $0.10 in the exchanges. And the rank according to the coinmarketcap is 65. So, investing in this coin won't be worthless.
I've just started looking for a loan and it's a busy market place right now. I just think the token backed lenders are pricing themselves out of serious market adoption when you look at the likes of https://blockfi.com/ who seem to be regularly lending at much lower rates. It's certainly an interesting space though and I imagine 3-4 will end up dominating

Yeah, maybe but I think what affected the deal was valuation. Salt started on a wrong note and do not have a strong go to market strategy like NEXO, I think Credo is another direct competitor to the project, if Crypto lending gain significant adoption these projects are going to be a big het for investors

Yes, there are probably some better projects (and lots of worse to be clear) but not in the crypto loans business. On this field NEXO seems to be way ahead of the competition - they have already working platform generating revenue, soon dividends will be payed out, number of users is growing steadily, their marketing campaign is huge and they are adding new features and coins constantly.

That is not accurate. First of all there was no ICO, only private pre-sale for accredited investors (and of course there was some pools also, which I joined) and the price depended on the amount invested. I bought it when ETH was for ~ $850 and the price for me was 0.085 afair, but I'm sure big players had even bigger bonuses. All in all, since tokens got listed on exchanges, NEXO was never cheaper than what I paid for.
For me this is top 20 marketcap token easily, which means it has a room to grow at least x5 from now.

Well, every new exchange is a good news. Even if the volume on Bancor isn't that big, they have FIAT gateway, which makes buying NEXO easier for everyone, not only tech-savvy people. It's step in the right direction for sure.

This one is very intriguing and appears to literally have a world of potential. Also, the entry price point is currently low and IMHO worth taking a flyer on and HODLing.

So how does it work? Say you have 1000 NEXO tokens in your ETH wallet. How does Nexo give you dividends? They give 30% of their profit to NEXO holders, but how do they distribute that? Do you need to take loan and own NEXO tokens to get dividends?
All ICOs are scam, at least many of them, maybe they are not legally scam but their mentality does not differ from scammers so I would avoid investing in any ico, also it is no longer profitable.
Nice to hear that nexo allow us to be able to use our bitcoin and Ethereum as a collateral for overdraft! I seriously believe that this is going to bring more confidence into cryptocurrencies. I have been trying to understand this principle of what nexo really stands for and I find it out from they white paper that it can serve as a collateral for bitcoin.

ICO is over why do they need to do bounty campaign. This project sound great. I decided against investing in it for some reason, any project paying dividends in the space are not allowed to be held by US investors which is a concern to me. Is now time for the team to deliver on their promises, because project like this is going to prevent the usually dumping of coins on market
