They told me the order would be factory sealed and in my name so it would be under warranty still from Bitmain. Could this be true?

No.

According to the Warranty section on Bitmain's Antminer S9 product page:

2. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser who purchased the machine directly from Bitmain. Once the miner is resold warranty coverage becomes the responsibility of the re-seller.

Just Getting Started...
Preordering through a seller means you get no warranty. Good luck with that.

P.S. My end of January batch shipped today so you never know when they will be arriving.

Yeah, personally I would steer clear of a 3rd party pre-selling a pre-sale. Just wait for Bitmain or one of the other "vetted" companies listed here.

My January batch Bitmain order shipped early as well. I should have it in a few days, the PSUs got here last week Smiley

I am considering a pre order for the next batch of S9's from Bitmain through a seller. However the batch isnt suppose to ship unti Feb/March. Does that mean ship to the customer in Feb/March? When do you think realistically I would actually get them?

Also difficulty will be up considerably by then from now. I'm wondering how long it would take to ROI at the current prices for an S9 with psu from bitmain once March comes around.

Obviously this is some far out speculation. Its just something I need to consider before spending that kind of money.
