To me i believe ETH, has no tendency to replacing BTC, I don't think ETH's supporters are more than BTC's supporters, so this is impossible.
Many people use Ethereum for their daily deals every day. Because most of tokens are based on ethereum's platform ERC-20, I don't think that bitcoin will die soon.. so it's maybe a long time
Remember there is still Ripple who has occupied the top 2 position of top coinmarketcap.
